Jax is currently in a foster home so that he can gain confidence. Here is a recent update from Jax's foster mom! "Jax is a very shy and timid boy. He truly wants to be the best boy, but people make him so nervous. He loves treats/food but does take time to eat it if people are around. He loves every dog that he comes into contact with. Jax is a totally different dog when he is outside. He runs around and looks so happy! His favorite is to carry sticks around and have other dogs chase him. Jax would benefit from a confident dog in the household to help him see that humans aren't so bad. He has done great with my two small dogs, but he seems to thrive more with a bigger dog. He walks really well on a leash (especially with a harness) and has been very good about going potty outside. He is on anxiety medication now, which he had helped significantly. He needs someone to be patient with him. Someone who will let him break out of his shell on his own time, which might take time."
