If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‑984‑1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Squirrel is a 2‑year‑old Jindo mix weighing about 15 pounds, and he’s a spirited, energetic boy with a big personality. He’s one of our newer intakes, and so far we’ve learned that he’s smart, independent, and definitely has a stubborn streak. With the right adopter—someone who can provide structure, consistency, and outlets for his energy—Squirrel has the potential to thrive.We have not yet fully tested him around other dogs, but he walked past the lobby dogs on leash without issue. As we continue to get to know him, we’ll learn more about his social preferences. He was found as a stray, so we do not have background information on him, but our veterinary team noted no health concerns. His adoption fee is $300.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether he is housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age‑appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.If you’d like to meet Squirrel, we’d be happy to help.
