Story
Bear is a charming, talkative dog who was brought in as a stray and, sadly, never reclaimed. Despite his rough start, Bear has shown himself to be a sweet, social companion who thrives on human interaction. He loves to "chat" with his people and is always ready for a dip in his kiddie pool – it's one of his favorite pastimes!
Bear is great with other dogs, good with cats and kids, and friendly with strangers. He is housebroken but may need a little adjustment period in a new home. He’s crate trained and should be crated when left alone to help set him up for success. Bear can have a bit of selective hearing at times and may initially be protective of his food, but with structure and consistency, he settles in well.
He rides well in the car, loves walks in the park, and is just as happy enjoying lazy afternoons with his people. He walks nicely on leash, loves to explore, and would do best in a home where he can get plenty of attention, enrichment, and love.
Bear does have seasonal allergies that can make his ears sensitive. Per the vet, he should be kept on Benadryl to help manage his symptoms.
He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on prevention.
If you're looking for a loyal, expressive buddy who gets along with everyone, enjoys water and conversation, and is always ready for the next adventure, Bear might be your perfect match!
