Story
Juno has a moderate energy level. She needs daily activity, but is also capable of relaxing on her own for long periods of time. She loves to play chase and do puzzles! She spends most of her day lounging, but craves social interaction and play with people and other dogs. Juno CANNOT live with cats. Unfortunately she has a very strong phobia and aversion to cats. She can also be a bit rough when she plays so small children aren't recommended. She loves to play with people and other dogs, but will likely need some correction during introductions, as she gets very overexcited. Juno has completed beginner and intermediate training at Petsmart, reactive dog training at the Arizona Humane Society, and has had private trainers for her targeted behaviors. Juno is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and micro-chipped! She takes Fluoxetine daily for anxiety and has a fairly sensitive stomach. This lovely girl needs a moderately active, patient, and loving home to go to.

Story
Hello, unfortunately we need to rehome our 2 year old pure bred neutered male American Akita. He has recently became reactive around children and we cannot take the risk any longer. I will be vetting any potential new parents. He is a very good dog and very protective. Would make a great protector for a single person or a home with only adults. Once he gets to know you he is loving and will protect you with his life. We are trying to give him the best possible chance and unfortunately our home is no longer the best place for him. There is a $100 rehoming fee and I will want to make sure the new home will be a good fit. Prior experience with large dominant breeds is an absolute must and prior experience with Akitas would be awesome. He does well with female dogs but male dogs would not be advised around him.
