Story
Bruno was rescued from a hoarding situation and initially we couldn’t even touch him. He’s come such a long way and now allows us to leash him, and will walk short distances, he loves to give kisses, and receive belly and back rubs. He loves his toys and balls and trying to hide them, and he loves to run when he gets those puppy zoomies. Dogs coming from hoarding situations tend to come around much faster in homes where theirs another confident friendly dog. Bruno is crate trained and initially we definitely recommend having a crate as this is his safe place. However, we’ve seen with the other dogs we’ve placed from this situation that most will start exploring within 24 hrs, and start following their person within 48 hours. We are hoping to find someone that can see past his breed and understand this is a puppy that will need a dedicated adopter that’s willing to be patient and committed. Bruno doesnt mind children and has never shown aggression but we will only consider households with children that are respectful and with calm, gentle demeanor’s.

Join us at our adoption event at Petsmart scheduled for today Saturday 11/04/23 at 1780 Garnet Ave, San Diego, CA 92109 from 12:30 To 3:30 - if you are not able to make it today please text us to let you know about our next event at 619-576-0747. So far we are scheduled every 1st Saturday of each month to be having events in the afternoon from 3 to 5:30 pm at Petsmart: 4253 Genesee Ave, San Diego, CA 92117 (06/03/23 next following Sat) Ju-na is a wonderful 6 month old puppu - She is a low-shedding hypoallergenic PugAdoodle - Mom is a Poodle and dad is a purebred Pug - so she is a hybrid PugAdoodle as popular as a Poogles. However the energy of the Pug is much calmer than the energy of the Beagles. Juna is so great with kids, and other dogs - and cats as well - She will need to have another dog companion for her to be the best she can be. Therefore, a 2nd dog is a must to adopt Juna. Are you ready to give her a forever home? Please text at 619-576-0747 as 1st type of contact or email veronica.aaofus@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . If approved, the adoption coordinator will reach out to you to schedule a Meet-and-Greet appointment. No appointments will be made unless we have received an application; therefore, we can match you with the best fit for you. Follow us on Instagram @aaofus where you can see more pics. Please allow 48 hours to process applications and respond back to set up appointments. Unfortunately, responses back to those who do not qualify are not possible due to high volume of applications. Donation Adoption fee includes up-to-date 3 core puppy vaccinations; spaying or neutering, deworming, and a complementary health check up by a participating clinic near you. Please consider adopting one (or more!) of these fur babies! Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us. LIVE!! LOVE!!! RESCUE!! Story
Max is approximately 11 months as of april 2024, around 22 pounds, neutered and fully vaccinated poodle mix breed. He is potty & crate trained but has not yet mastered the leash. Max is very playful, affectionate and has a fearless spirit which keeps things lively!! Max gets along well with other dogs, adults and children alike. Given his young age he should be able to learn your family’s routine rather quickly and become part of the gang in no time!!! Max’s owner recently became unable to care for him, therefore FHSTJ intervened February 2024 so he wouldn’t have to succumb to the streets
