Story
This fun loving “dood” is ready for you!  Hi! I’m Rowlf — your one-of-a-kind doodle dude! You know how they say life isn’t always a walk in the park? Well, mine sure started ruff. I was hit by a car in LA and broke my front leg. It’s not going to heal, but that doesn’t stop me from doodlin’ all over the place (zoomies, wagging, dancing for food—you name it)! I wore a cast like a champ for two months and even got neutered during that time. I needed meds to help calm me down, but I’m off all of them now and feeling great! I’m 2 years old, 50 pounds, and I’m the fluffiest little shadow you’ll ever meet. Wherever you go, I go. Laundry? Let’s fold together. Sitting down? Oh perfect—finally, cuddle time. I’m super friendly with other dogs, though sometimes my energy can be a bit much for the more chill crowd. I love older kids who won’t mind if I occasionally forget how big I am. As for cats, I haven’t met any yet, so I’m not sure what I think of them. I absolutely love going for walks, chasing balls, running around in grassy areas, and eating and drinking like it’s my full-time job. I’m also clever—I’ll sneak stuff off the counter and take it to my crate. I’m not shy about letting you know I don’t love designated crate time. Potty training is still a work in progress, but I can hold it for about five hours. Leash manners? I’m learning! I get excited and bark around other dogs. One thing I need help with is my separation anxiety. If you’re home and I can’t see you, I’ll cry. If you leave me out while you’re gone, I might do a little… redecorating. I’m working on gaining my confidence and I’m hoping to find a human who can keep me on a routine that helps me feel safe and sound.  I’m a total sweetheart who just wants to love and be loved. I’m goofy, loyal, and full of life. Once I bond with you, I’ll be your ride-or-doodle forever. I’d thrive with a family—especially one with another dog or older kids—to help me feel secure when you’re away. So what do you say? Let’s get out the sketch pad and doodle out our future together!  My adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/ ##2319434##

Story
Hi there! My name is Philly and I’m a 2-year-old, 59-pound male Poodle (yep, 100% according to my DNA test, even though I definitely have a doodle vibe). I don’t shed, I’m potty trained (I use a turf pad outside, super convenient!), and I’m crate trained… although I usually sleep on my cozy dog bed in the living room. I’m a smart, energetic, sweet guy with a big personality and even bigger heart. I love being around my humans and really don’t like being left alone for long — I’ll whimper a little but then I usually settle down and take a nap. Midday naps are kind of my thing. I also love chasing bubbles, playing fetch, and being where the action is. I’ve had some ear issues in the past that made me super uncomfortable, but after trying different diets and meds, things started clearing up once I was fully switched to a vegetarian diet, specifically Natural Balance Vegetarian Recipe. I even started allergy shots, but the vet says I might not need them anymore since my ears are looking good! Now, I’ll be real with you, I have a hard time with grooming. Like, a really hard time. I’ve bitten multiple groomers (even with medication and a muzzle), though I let my family brush my fur and teeth at home without a fuss. It’s one of those mysteries we haven’t solved yet, but sedation might be necessary for full grooming. When it comes to training, I’ve done a ton! I completed three full-day 1:1 sessions with a pro trainer and went to group classes every Saturday. I know all the basics: sit, come, off, back, and release. I walk on a leash and follow door routines (sit, walk, come, sit again), though I still get very excited when I see people or other dogs, I’ll pull and bark, even though I’m trying to be good. Speaking of barking… yeah, I bark. If someone walks by our house (front or back), if another dog barks, or sometimes just because I see or hear something. I have sharp eyes and ears, nothing gets by me! I wonder if that can be solved by management, by putting visual barriers. We can try! I love people, maybe even more than dogs, but I’m still working on my social skills. I get super excited around other pups but sometimes don’t pick up on their cues. At the dog park, I’ll often go say hi to the humans instead. I’ve never lived with another dog, but I think I’d enjoy a companion, especially one who can help me learn better dog-to-dog behavior. Now, about kids. I’ve always been gentle with the baby, but I’ve struggled with the older daughter. It’s not mean, just excited or playful, but my excited behavior. Because of that, I think I’d do best in a home without small kids, maybe older kids who understand my energy and can help train me would be okay. I’m a lover, a goofball, and yes — a bit of a project. But I have so much potential. I need an active family who’s around most of the time and is committed to continuing my training and helping me feel confident and calm. I’ll reward you with snuggles, loyalty, and lots of laughs. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with big feelings and a bigger heart, I just might be your guy. My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/ ##1678198##

Story
Sweet and spunky! Hi there! I’m Delfina or Daphne– a sweet and spunky 2.5-year-old Poodle Mix, weighing about 15 pounds. I may be small, but I’ve got a big heart and an even bigger personality! Thanks to the wonderful folks at TAP, I was rescued from an LA shelter just in time. I had a broken jaw when they found me, but don’t worry – it’s all healed up now, and I’m feeling better than ever. Now I’m on the lookout for my perfect furever family! I’m full of energy and love to run, play, and explore. Some of my favorite activities include tug toys and going on walks.  I also adore being the center of attention and hanging out with doggie friends. But when the excitement winds down, I’m just as happy snuggling up with you. I’ll even sleep in your arms all night long without moving a muscle — seriously, I’m the ultimate cuddle bug. I’ve got a silly, lovable personality that’s sure to make you laugh. I’m working hard on my potty training — just a few accidents here and there — and I’m a total pro on the leash. I can be a little territorial around other pups, but I truly enjoy their company and love to play once we’re all friends. That said, I do get scared easily and have a big bark when I’m feeling anxious. I also struggle with separation anxiety, so I’d really thrive in a home where I’m not left alone for long stretches. If I get too lonely, I might rummage through the trash to cope.  But hey, I’m healthy overall and already spayed, so I’m ready to go! My dream home would include kiddos (I LOVE attention!) and maybe a furry sibling or two, as long as we hit it off. I seem to get along with cats just fine, too. More than anything, though, I just want to be part of a loving family who’s ready for a loyal, playful, snuggly companion like me. My adoption fee is $450 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.     ##2198718##

Meet Duffy💛, an incredibly sweet and loving bundle of joy, who is about 12 weeks old. We believe he is a golden lab doodle mix, but what we know for sure is that he is 100% a precious gem💎!He has a doodle sister named Darla who is also available for adoption, in case you'd love to adopt a pair of siblings and experience twice the joy. Duffy is the smallest in the litter, but he is also the most playful little sweetheart, who loves toys and snuggles with his siblings.
