**About Koda:** Thank you for interested in adopting Koda. Please know that Koda is an international rescue through South Korea. When your application is approved, you will need to pick him up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, IAH, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we‘ve done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Personality: Koda is cheerful and energetic. He can be a bit competitive with dogs at a similar energy level but is gentle with older dogs. While he has built a strong bond with his foster, he can be wary of strangers. He should not be let off-leash as he avoids capture or close contact without it. He is generally cautious in new situations but shows resilience and adapts well over time. Koda does well with both children and adults. He may be nervous at first, but after 4–5 days he warms up and becomes affectionate. He has a tendency to chase stray cats, so living with cats may not be suitable. Car Rides: Travels well in the car without issues. Housebreaking: Prefers outdoor potty. Alone Time: May whine a little and bark at outside noises, but settles down. Leash & Walks: Currently in leash training. He may try to run after birds or small animals, so caution is needed. Coming from a street life, he is wary of cars and waits for them to pass even from a distance. - Koda is shy at first, but adapts quickly and shows strong affection once trust is built. - Shows some “one-person dog” tendencies, bonding closely with the foster. - Naturally energetic and active due to his young age, but he has good self-control. Koda is ready to find his forever loving home. If you’re interested in him, please feel free to reach out to us anytime!

Story
**About Ivy:** Ivy is an international rescue all the way from South Korean. While "international adoption" might sound like a major undertaking, we have years of experience streamlining this process to make it as smooth as possible. We’ll be right by your side to explain every step! The Journey Home Once your application is approved, the final step of Ivy’s journey begins. Adopters are responsible for picking her up directly from a major international airport. Common arrival hubs include: West Coast: SFO, SEA, LAX. East Coast & Central: JFK, IAH Personality She is shy at first, but if you offer her treats and wait patiently, she will approach you. However, please avoid walking straight toward her or touching her suddenly. It’s best to wait until she comes up on her own to sniff or accept treats (this is especially important for strangers and new adopters). Please note that she can get easily startled when putting on her leash or when getting in and out of the car. Experience with children She hasn’t spent much time around children, but when kids offered her treats, she gently accepted them. However, please make sure children refrain from making sudden, loud noises and movements, or trying to touch her too quickly. Experience with cats She doesn’t show much interest in cats. If there is a cat in the home, she should get along just fine once she gets used to them. Behavior in cars Her carsickness has gotten much better, but she might still vomit on long-distance rides. She uses a crate for travel, placed in the trunk area. She hops in and out of it on her own. However, she often gets startled when getting out and might pull on her leash, so please hold onto it firmly so it doesn’t slip out of your hand. Potty training She prefers doing her business outdoors, but when indoors, she is 100% potty pad trained! When moving to a new environment, she might hold it for a couple of days at first. Please don’t rush her; once she feels safe, she will sniff around and go on her own. Behavior when left alone No barking or separation anxiety at all! She does tend to shred paper or tissues if they are left lying around on the floor. Resource guarding She may occasionally give a subtle growl if someone approaches her food bowl while she’s eating. Other than that, she doesn’t have any strong guarding tendencies or sensitivity. Leash and walk experience She maintains a great, comfortable distance on the leash. She does very well on leash. She is very easy to manage on walks, though she has never been off-leash. She shows curiosity toward other dogs, but she doesn’t pull or drag you. **About Vale:** Vale is an international rescue all the way from South Korean. While "international adoption" might sound like a major undertaking, we have years of experience streamlining this process to make it as smooth as possible. We’ll be right by your side to explain every step! The Journey Home Once your application is approved, the final step of Vale’s journey begins. Adopters are responsible for picking him up directly from a major international airport. Common arrival hubs include: West Coast: SFO, SEA, LAX. East Coast & Central: JFK, IAH Personality Vale is active, full of energy, loves to play, and is super affectionate! He easily approaches new people and warms up right away. Since he can be a little cautious at first, he might bark when meeting a new dog for the very first time, but he settles down quickly and gets along great with them. Experience with children He hasn’t spent much time around children, but he seems like he would do totally fine with them. Experience with cats He hasn’t shown much interest in cats so far. Typically, Jindo dogs, when raised with cats from a young age, grow up with no aggression toward them. Behavior in cars Since he is still a baby, he travels in a crate. He has been riding in cars since he was 2 months old, so he is very used to it! Potty training He does both indoor and outdoor potty. In the morning, he goes in the backyard, and during evening walks, he does his business outside as well. Indoors, he uses potty pads with a 100% success rate! He saves almost all of his poop for outdoors, and as typical for Jindos, once they pass around 6 months old, they usually transition to outdoor-only potty. Behavior when left alone He has never been left completely by himself, and since he is still a young puppy, he might whine a little at first. Resource guarding He waits politely for his turn to get treats. He loves treats very much! After finishing his own, he keeps his eyes on his siblings’ treats, but he never growls or guards his own food. He’s not picky with his food at all and eats very well. (Currently, we feed him a mix of various kibbles.) He has no known allergies. Leash and walk experience He just recently started leash walking, but he is learning very smoothly! We are also practicing recall off-leash (in safe areas). Even when he’s running around happily, he comes right away when called and heads right back into the house nicely.
