Story
Cloud | Male | 3 year 11 months old | Great Pyrenees Weight: Approx. 32kg Cloud is a stunning Great Pyrenees with a soft, fluffy double coat. True to his breed, also known as a Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Cloud has a gentle and cozy exterior with a strong and protective inner nature. He’s not just calm and friendly—his gentleness comes from a deep-rooted confidence, as he believes in protecting those around him. Cloud has a sweet, peaceful personality, but don’t let that fool you. Beneath his calm demeanor, he has a firm sense of responsibility and determination to protect his surroundings. Though he’s a bit shy, you’ll quickly sense his trust and strength. Cloud is a high-energy dog, so he would thrive in a home with a large yard. He loves being active, playing, and running around. Daily outdoor activity is essential to keep him happy and healthy. He’s playful and enjoys both eating and having fun, showcasing his cheerful and innocent side. Despite his past, where he was abandoned at a shelter, Cloud is quick to warm up to new people. While he hasn't had much basic training yet, Cloud is highly intelligent, and positive reinforcement, such as treats, helps him learn quickly. He may pull on the leash during walks out of curiosity, but he’s improving with practice and guidance. Cloud is also great with other dogs, including smaller ones. He’s big in size but still exhibits the endearing behaviors of a puppy, which make him even more lovable. Cloud would be best suited for someone who understands the Great Pyrenees breed or enjoys large dogs and is looking for a companion to enjoy daily outdoor activities with. If you're ready for a loyal, loving companion and are willing to provide training and structure, Cloud will be a lifelong friend, offering deep love and trust in return.

Nellie is available through our `Adopt From a Foster Home` program. If you are interested in scheduling a meeting, please fill out the request form here: Adopt From Foster Form. Please do not make an appointment through our online booking calendar, as she is not available to meet on site.Nellie is an affectionate young dog whose personality shines more and more every day! She`s very smart and eager to learn new things. She bonds tightly to her chosen human(s), actively soaking up all the attention and affection she`s offered! She enjoys walks and playing with her large-breed foster dog sibling. She also shows enjoyment relaxing nearby while the household goes about their day.In time, Nellie shows increased confidence and comfort with new people, situations and routines. A little patience goes a long way to getting her there and she will make a loving and loyal companion in the right home! She is most confident and secure when her trusted human(s) are nearby and will thrive most in a home that can slowly work up to absences. Nellie is definitely a `girl`s girl` and prefers the company of women. She`s a bit nervous around men, and it will take her a lot more time (potentially several months or longer) to interact and relax with them the way she does with her lady humans. Nellie has a nice balance of playful energy and calm self entertainment. Outdoors she is showing some interest in fetch games and loves a good game of chase or toy tug with a companion dog that`s willing! She is very interested in squirrels and rabbits and will give chase and sniff them out. She is quietly content out in the yard or on the deck for extended periods of time, watching the birds and enjoying the fresh air. In the house, she’s great at entertaining herself by chewing on her toys or relaxing near her people. Her go to chews are the Nylabone type chews and food-stuffed Kongs. She also really enjoys destuffing toys to get the squeaker out (score!). Nellie also asks for back scratches and belly rubs, she`ll show you where!Overall, Nellie is a loving dog who is looking for patient owners to helper her continue growing her confidence. She`s showing keen interest to learn and adapt when her trusted people invest time with her. She is growing into a great companion for someone willing and able to spend that time with her. So what are you waiting for?! Submit the AFF form for Nellie today and fall in love with this sweet girl!Nellie is:
