Story
Meet Winter – a gentle soul with a heart of gold. Winter is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. He’s a calm, sweet-natured boy who truly thrives just being near his people. Whether he’s resting at your feet, following you from room to room, or enjoying a peaceful walk by your side, Winter’s presence is comforting and steady. This handsome guy is a dream in the home—he’s fully potty trained and crate trained, and he understands how to settle nicely. He walks beautifully on a leash and makes daily strolls a relaxing pleasure rather than a chore. Winter isn’t demanding or high-energy; instead, he’s content with companionship, gentle affection, and a cozy place to rest. Winter is also wonderfully friendly and kind, greeting people with a soft demeanor and a wagging tail. He has that rare “old soul” quality—calm, patient, and incredibly loving. He would be a perfect match for someone looking for a loyal companion, a peaceful household, or a dog who will fit seamlessly into their daily routine. If you’re searching for a dog who will bring warmth, gratitude, and unconditional love into your life, Winter may be your perfect match. He’s ready to spend his golden years being cherished—could that be with you? Winter is a 3-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $250 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Winter is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
I would like to introduce you to this adorable puppy. Esme is a 13 week old Pyrenees mix puppy. Determining the actual breed of a rescue puppy, outside of genetic testing, is more of an educated guess. However; she weighs in at 22+ pounds. Judging from her current size, her “Big Dog Paws”, and other character traits, it is my guess that she will be a fairly large adult dog. What does not require any guest work is the observation that she has a sweet, non-aggressive personality that will adopt to most family settings. During the day, I have been taking her out about every two hours where she will quickly do her business. I have had only a few accidents in the house, but they have come usually as a result of me not getting her out in that to our window. There has not been any formal potty training, just behavioral association. When I first picked her up, she was pretty shy. She would jump at any loud sounds inside or outside. Her interactions with other dogs has been fairly limited as she has not received all her puppy vaccinations and interaction or play with other dogs is not allowed by The Alliance. She does show a curiosity and interest, but it usually comes when in my protective arms, while out in the neighborhood. She walks very easily on a leash and a harness with variable speeds that makes me believe that she has the potential to be a great walking companion. Esme is a sweet playful pup who is content to play on her own or spend time cuddling with me on the couch. Esme is ready to make some very lucky family the greatest canine companion. Come meet this amazing pup. *Come meet me this Saturday (01.24.26) at the Fort Collins PetSmart from 10am-2pm! This event is first come, first served so we recommend arriving early if you have a specific furry friend in mind! This event operates on a number system so upon arrival make sure to get your number and we will call numbers up in groups! Please note in order to receive a number you need to be an approved adopter within the last 3 months. We will have paper applications available at the event as well as our application via our website! We hope to see you there! :)*

Story
Bagel is 1 year old pyrenees-border collie mix who is very sweet and affectionate. He is about 55 lb. He loves going on hikes, walks, rides in the car, and even bike rides. He's also happy cuddling with his people after a fun day. He is still young, so he needs some direction here and there, but his goofy personality makes him an immediate catch. His fosters have been working on basic training with him and he knows to sit, walk with a loose leash (no pulling!) and other tricks! He loves butterflies and grasshoppers, and will show off his little smile when he gets excited. He is great with all humans, and walks well on leash. Bagel is crate trained and potty trained, and loves other dogs. Bagel is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
