Story
Snow is a beautiful Pyrenees mix and is believed to be approximately 1-3 years old. She is shy at first but really loves affection once she feels safe with you, she is absolutely adorable and her eyes will melt your heart! She weighs approximately 80 lbs and still needs to put on a few more pounds to be at a healthy weight. Snow came to Colorado with her sister Rain and they were both very underweight. They are thriving at their foster mom's house and are putting on weight and getting healthy and strong and are ready to be loved! We don't know much about her history but we can tell she was never socialized. Every day she gets more confident and would love to have a home of her own and someone to love her unconditionally and continue to teach her how good it is to be loved! Snow loves to play with other dogs so she will probably do best with a confident canine buddy in her future home but is not completely necessary if an adopter has lots of love to share with her. Snow loves her kennel and feels very safe in it. She sleeps through the night and naps in it during the day. She also loves food so it is easy to work with her to gain her trust. This beautiful girl is waiting patiently to find her FurEver Family and is currently being fostered with one of our dog trainers that specializes and rehabilitates shy or unsocialized dogs. Her foster mom has an amazing rehabilitation protocol to help these precious dogs and is working with all the dogs in her care on potty training, socializing with dogs and humans, kennel training, doggie door training and if time permits, leash and car training. Probably the thing Snow will need the most patience with is learning to walk on a leash. Currently it scares her but her foster mom is trying to help her with that. Since leash walking makes her nervous she will need a home with a fenced yard. There are lots of other dogs at her foster mom's house so we know she is dog friendly. Her foster doesn't have any cats but thinks she would be fine with them if introduced slowly and properly. We also think she would be fine with older / calm children. Please consider this adorable dog as a part of your family. She deserves all the kindness and will give you a lifetime of affection. Her foster mom is located in Fort Collins Colorado and wants to find a patient adopter, who is willing to do a minimum of one paid (discounted) training session with her. This training session is NOT basic obedience, but instead, is designed for rescue dogs and teaches the adopter how to work to build the dogs confidence and overcome any trauma the dog may have experienced. This training is to teach the adopter how to help the dog be successful in their new home and will help the family and this sweet dog bond and adjust to their new life together. The foster provides a discount on training to her adopters. Please apply for Snow today!!

Story
Junie is a sweet, fully potty trained, and well behaved 3-year old female Colorado Mountain Dog! She loves people, of all ages (especially kids), and other canine playmates. She needs a loving and patient home with a fair amount of land so she can run, and preferably have a job. She loves the ranch life and gets along with others, but I moved from the ranching life. She needs more room than I have and I'd love to see her thrive in a family who can give her what she needs. She is quiet, unless there is something outside at night. She loves toys, bones, treats, and the occasional dropped food scraps. She is very silly and always brings humor to the day! She will only sleep in a dog bed and has done so since she was a puppy. I never knew why; I think the previous owner/breeder taught her this. She needs to run to be the best behaved dog. If she doesn't, she'll have some behavior issues. She knows vocal commands, on-leash and off. Please reach out with questions.

Story
June is a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix who has been a loved part of our family since she was young. She is spayed, microchipped, healthy, and lives as an indoor companion dog; not a working livestock guardian. She is loyal, affectionate, and very people-focused once she’s comfortable. June has lived with cats and dogs, including small dogs, but can be selective with some pets and is somewhat food-protective. She can become overwhelmed by loud or rambunctious children, so she would do best in an experienced, structured home without young kids. She is bonded with her older sister Lilo, and we would love for them to go together if possible, though the right fit matters most. In a patient, dog-savvy home, June is a very loving companion. If both adopted together, would bring down adoption fee.

Story
Lilo is a 5-year-old Great Pyrenees who we believe is purebred. We brought her home as a young dog and she has been a very loved member of our family ever since. She is spayed, microchipped, healthy, and lives as an indoor companion dog, NOT a working livestock guardian. She has a gentle, calm, affectionate personality and is wonderful with people, children, dogs, and cats. Lilo is patient, steady, and loves being near her people. She brings a peaceful, easygoing presence to the home and adapts well to family life. Lilo is closely bonded with her younger sister June (a 2-year-old Pyrenees mix). They are not littermates, but they are very attached, and we would love for them to be adopted together if possible, though our main priority is the best fit for each dog. We’re looking for a loving, stable home with the time and space for a large-breed companion. She’s a truly kind dog who will make a wonderful addition to the right family. Would lower adoption fee if both adopted.

Story
Annie, Pyrenees/Australian, 2 yrs. Annie She is a very sweet dog, but she will need to go to a home with someone who has experience with these types of breeds. This is a guardian dog and a working breed. She can walk on a leash, and I can take her food from her while she’s eating with no problems. Her world is a bit upside down right now but despite all that, she is just a goofy ball of love that is looking for her forever home. Her owner has been dealing with a cancer diagnosis and unfortunately her treatments did not go as hoped and I have been given the go ahead to find this beautiful girl a new home. She was raised with a St. Bernard and gets along fine with a Siberian husky. She also lives with a cat, and she mostly ignores it, but I don’t think she would be a great fit for a home with just a cat and no other dogs. Looking for a home with someone home most of the time and another young dog. More information to come. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385

Story
Lollie is an absolute sweetheart who leads with love. She’s incredibly affectionate and has the cutest way of gently using her mouth to let you know what she wants—always soft, polite, and endearing. Lollie is a proud couch potato who enjoys her downtime and snuggles, but she’ll do best with continued engagement and gentle encouragement to keep her active and confident. She is fully potty trained, though like many dogs, she may need a few days of transition time in a new home to learn the routine and “ropes.” With consistency and positive reinforcement, she settles in beautifully. Lollie’s loving nature and calm presence make her a wonderful companion for someone ready to offer structure, patience, and lots of affection. Lollie is a 3-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $250 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Lollie is also tested with other dogs, children, and kennel trained. She is working on potty training in foster and is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). *We will not be hosting adoption events on Saturday, February 7 or 14. Instead, we are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applications February 2-15.* For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption!
