Story
Meet Gryff, the Gentle Giant! Gryff is a 100-pound Great Pyrenees who brings sweetness and affection to everyone he meets! This big boy is a true ‘gentle giant,’ always ready to lend a paw to his humans. He’s non-destructive and can be left alone for hours without any accidents—he even manages to hold it overnight! Gryff is smart, observant, and loves to chill in the backyard, soaking up the sun. Plus, just look at that handsome face! However, Gryff does have some quirks. He’s still learning to be a better leash walker and can be quite reactive to other dogs during walks—he’s just eager to say hi!  He’s also a bit unpredictable with strangers; sometimes he greets them with a wagging tail, while other times, he might growl. Sometimes he needs some time to trust you. And be prepared for some fur and drool—this big fur shedder needs regular vacuuming! If you’re ready to welcome a lovable companion into your home, Gryff could be the perfect fit!June 11, 2025, 2:40 pm

Story
Are you looking for a playful buddy to have long walks at sunset with, relax with, and to snuggle and watch a movie with? Look no further, Rex is the guy! Rex is an incredible Pyrenees/ German Shepherd mix, around 11 months old! Rex loves his daily walks, and showing off for treats. He loves the human kiddos in his foster home, and the adults too. While he loves nearly everything, his most favorite thing to do is snuggle. He’s potty trained, leash trained, has good house manners, and gives amazing little kisses! What more could you want from a pup? He still has a bit of growing to do at his age, but he’s a great size and loyal friend. He doesn’t hurt kitties but does show a bit too much attention toward them and wants to play, so only very dog-Saavy cats will enjoy his company. He is extremely playful with other dogs and doesn’t have great play boundaries, so it would be best for him to have a patient and sturdy friend that enjoys intense play, or to be the only dog in the home. Come and meet Rex! Once you snuggle this ball of love, his eyes will beg you to never stop loving him. Can you give him the best birthday present of all, a forever home?

Story
This handsome guy is named Chime, and he is a playful 2 yr-old Great Pyrenees that just arrived from Oklahoma. He is good with other dogs, and would love to find his forever home here in CO. Sadly, he came to us heartworm positive, but lucky for him, Big Bones is taking care of his treatment, and it is 100% curable! He will need a little quiet time while going through his treatment, but should be able to act and live like any other dog, once done. Apply to adopt this lovable guy 💙 He is waiting in Windsor!

Story
Hello, I'm Sirloin! I’m a sweet, playful guy who’s always ready for fun and affection. I love going on walks, getting pets (all over, please!), and being around people. When I get excited, I wag my tail like crazy and might bounce up to say hello, but it’s all in good fun. I’ve been told I’m super friendly and outgoing, and I think that’s pretty spot on. Because I’ve got a lot of happy energy and love to interact, I’d be great in a home with kids of any age. I just want to be your cheerful sidekick, ready for every adventure and cuddle. Think we’re a match? I sure hope so!

Story
Osa is just the cutest bear cub of a puppy you'll ever meet. Although nugget-sized now, we expect this floof to grow into a large guardian dog- she would like a big fenced-in yard to patrol as an adult. One of her hobbies now is rolling around in cool grass- she just loves being outside and smelling all the smells! Osa has typical puppy energy, and so would appreciate a pile of toys and/or a dog friend in her adoptive home… or in Osa’s breed’s case, chickens or goats to protect! Osa currently lives with a senior cat in her foster home, and is gentle yet sometimes forgets cat tails are not chew toys, so dog-savvy feline friends are recommended. She will need an owner willing to work with her on potty training as she’s still young. She rides well in the car, because naturally her favorite place to go is wherever you’re going. She has been going to work with her foster parent, as she does not like to be left alone. If you’re looking for a sweetheart of a companion to raise into a loyal family dog, look no further. Osa will be at the PetSmart Fort Collins Adoption event THIS Saturday, 6/14. Put in your application today to meet her there at the event! *Come meet me this Saturday (06.14.25) at the Fort Collins PetSmart from 10am-2pm! This event is first come, first served so we recommend arriving early if you have a specific furry friend in mind! This event operates on a number system so upon arrival make sure to get your number and we will call numbers up in groups! Please note in order to receive a number you need to be an approved adopter within the last 3 months. We will have paper applications available at the event as well as our application via our website! We hope to see you there! :)*
