You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. A note from Duke: Hey there, I'm Duke! A soft, loyal, slightly goofy guy looking for my forever home. I'm happiest when I get to run, dig cozy holes to nap in, or go on sniffing adventures (my nose leads the way!). I'm a bit of a climber too-fences don't slow me down much-so I'll need a safe, secure space to keep my exploring paws where they belong. I love food, toys, and finding the squeaker in every toy I meet. Snacks and playtime are my two favorite things! I also know basic commands and I'm a really good listener when you talk to me kindly-I'll even roll right over for belly rubs. I get along great with dogs of all sizes (except one unneutered male who just rubbed me the wrong way) and I'm cat friendly too. The truth is, I'm a gentle soul. I get a little scared when voices are raised or there's sudden movement, so I'd do best with someone who has a calm, patient energy. Leash walks are fun-unless there's something really interesting to smell, then I might tug a bit. My fur is super soft, but when I get muddy (which I love), the dirt mysteriously ends up on the floor once it dries...can't imagine how that happens?! Oh, and one more thing, I don't like the color red. Don't ask me why, I just don't trust it. If you've got a farm or plenty of room to roam, I'd be the happiest boy by your side.
