Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bolt is waiting patiently for his forever home! Bolt is a 5 1/2 year old Great Pyrenees-Catahoula leopard dog mix. Bolt is a sweet and loyal companion, enjoys being in the yard when his foster mom gardens, and loves pets and attention. Bolt has a serious side, he barks when he perceives a threat (the UPS truck, mailman, etc) and a silly side, finding all sorts of random things to play with-he’d rather forage something around the house and cares less about dog toys. Bolt is super helpful around the house, he loves to help load the dishwasher, clean off the counters, and helps with the laundry by dragging clothes and towels from the laundry room outside in the rain, lol, he’s all about conservation! His new family should be sturdy as he can get spunky and want to play while doing zoomies around his people. He would love his own person/people to reciprocate his loyalty, someone who likes to relax and also find adventure. If you are looking for your “ride or die” dog, that’s Bolt, he is smart and eager to please. Bolt could get along with a female dog but would prefer to eat alone. Bolt is being fostered in Tacoma, WA and can be transported within WA and OR . All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  A note from Duke:  Hey there, I'm Duke!  A soft, loyal, slightly goofy guy looking for my forever home.  I'm happiest when I get to run, dig cozy holes to nap in, or go on sniffing adventures (my nose leads the way!).  I'm a bit of a climber too-fences don't slow me down much-so I'll need a safe, secure space to keep my exploring paws where they belong. I love food, toys, and finding the squeaker in every toy I meet.  Snacks and playtime are my two favorite things!  I also know basic commands and I'm a really good listener when you talk to me kindly-I'll even roll right over for belly rubs.  I get along great with dogs of all sizes (except one unneutered male who just rubbed me the wrong way) and I'm cat friendly too.  The truth is, I'm a gentle soul.  I get a little scared when voices are raised or there's sudden movement,  so I'd do best with someone who has a calm, patient energy. Leash walks are fun-unless there's something really interesting to smell, then I might tug a bit.  My fur is super soft, but when I get muddy (which I love), the dirt mysteriously ends up on the floor once it dries...can't imagine how that happens?!  Oh, and one more thing, I don't like the color red.  Don't ask me why, I just don't trust it.  If you've got a farm or plenty of room to roam, I'd be the happiest boy by your side.  I've got a big heart, a playful spirit, and I'm ready to love my person forever.  Love, Duke. Duke is in Snohomish and can be available within WA-OR. All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $275 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 27, 2025, 9:09 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lucy is a sweet and gentle 2-year-old Great Pyrenees looking for a loving home! She’s fully house-trained and has a calm, independent personality, but don’t be fooled—she loves attention and will happily follow you around for belly rubs and pets. She gets along well with other dogs (she currently lives with a golden retriever!) but can be a little protective of her food, so she’ll need a bit of patience in that area. However, Lucy takes treats and food by hand very gently and responds very well to us getting in her space while eating. She’s doing great on the leash and loves walks! Lucy loves hanging out outside, especially on the patio and backyard, and does well in the car. She’s not super into toys, but she listens well when she knows she’s not supposed to do something. If you’re looking for a laid-back, affectionate pup who’s independent but always up for some love, Lucy might be the one for you! All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6.  Adoption Fee: $275 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.
