Betty Boop has the kind of gentle, patient nature that makes you immediately think, “Now THAT is a nanny dog.” She is impossibly fluffy, outrageously beautiful, and so tolerant and tender with everyone around her. She has that calm, watchful energy that makes you feel like she would happily supervise the whole family, keep an eye on the kids, and then curl up beside everyone once her work is done. This gal is big and in the best, fluffiest way possible. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Just based on looks alone, we are pretty certain she has some Great Pyrenees mixed in there somewhere. She’s not just a good girl. She’s a “did we accidentally design the ideal family dog?” kind of girl. Fluffy enough to double as a pillow. Soft enough to resemble a luxury throw blanket with feelings. Calm enough to be a great family dog with kids. Sweet enough to melt you on contact. Betty isn’t chaotic puppy energy. She’s that perfectly balanced, low-to-medium energy, go-with-the-flow queen who knows when it’s time for a stroll, when it’s time to relax outside, and when it’s time to melt into the couch beside you, or let you melt into her because yes, she will absolutely let you use her as a pillow. She has wonderful house manners, is respectful in the home, walks easily on a leash, and carries herself like the polite lady she is. No nonsense. No drama. Just solid, dependable good girl energy wrapped in a cloud of floof. She is incredibly tolerant and patient. The kind of dog who handles life with quiet confidence and gentle grace. Betty loves treats and is crate and potty trained as well. She’ll be a great companion for someone who enjoys going on adventures and for someone looking for a snuggly pal at the end of the day. She is very dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced her to. Her favorite playmates are dogs with happy-go-lucky personalities who like to play but also know when it’s time for a break. She also appreciates being with pups that are not too pushy with their play. Betty enjoys romping around the yard with other dogs, playing a game of “tag, you’re it,” and occasionally enjoying relaxed, respectful play with the right dog. If you don’t have other dogs, Betty is totally fine with that. She is always happiest when she is surrounded by her favorite people and she loves everyone! While she will happily spend time with another dog that matches her vibe, her eyes light up when she’s getting loved on and she doesn’t need the company of another dog to feel secure. Besides, we don’t think she’ll mind being the center of your attention anyway. She’ll soak it all up like the pampered princess she secretly is. Betty also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. She did not chase Biggie, nor was she bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around her as well. We do not know if she has ever lived in a home with a cat before and this was our first time seeing her with one. Dudley McFloof is 80 pounds of fluff, feelings, and complete confidence that his people are the greatest thing to ever happen to planet Earth. He looks like a polar bear, loves like a Labrador, and has just enough Great Pyrenees independence to pretend he cannot hear you when your plans do not align with his. Most days, you can find him wandering around like he owns the place, supervising everyone’s questionable decisions, or reversing that enormous fluffy booty directly into someone for scratches. We believe he may be a Great Pyrenees and Labrador mix, but with animal rescue, breed and age are always a mystery and our best guesses. Not only is he handsome as all get out but he’s so sweet and affectionate. To the point to where you can’t help but want to give him the biggest bear hug. He has spent time around children approximately 5 and 8 years old and did wonderfully with them. Dudley was gentle, tolerant, and genuinely happy to be included. He has wonderful potential to become an amazing family dog for a home with respectful children, especially if those children understand that fluffy booty scratches are now part of their household responsibilities. Dudley is dog friendly and currently fostered in a multi-dog home with dogs of all different sizes and personalities. He does best with dogs who understand his cool, calm, and collected approach to life. While the other dogs are running around making questionable choices, Dudley is usually nearby serving as unpaid security and making sure nobody gets too out of hand. He is perfectly comfortable around playful dogs, but he will give fair corrections if another dog becomes too pushy or a younger pup forgets how to act in public. Occasionally, the mood strikes and Dudley joins the fun, but he is not interested in turning every hour into recess. He would much rather explore, mind his own business, and check in periodically to collect the booty scratches he is owed. Dudley could happily live with another respectful, easygoing dog, but he will not be offended if his future family does not provide him with a full-time wrestling partner. Dudley also met our house cat Biggie and handled the introduction like a perfect gentleman. He did not chase Biggie and was completely unbothered by him jumping around and engaging in the usual mysterious cat activities. Biggie appeared comfortable around Dudley too. We do not know whether Dudley has ever lived with a cat, and this was our first time observing him around one. If you have a cat at home, a sleepover can be arranged upon request. Just let us know! Dudley is a smart guy, although he occasionally likes to pretend he has never heard a human word in his entire life. He knows how to sit, loves treats, and takes them very gently. From what we have seen, he also has great house manners and understands that the bathroom is located outside. He is intelligent, capable, and happy to cooperate whenever he determines your request is reasonable. Like many Great Pyrenees and their mixes, Dudley is not a fan of being contained. If his future family plans to crate him, he will need a sturdy crate built to safely accommodate a large, clever dog with several opinions. He would also do best in a house with a backyard rather than an apartment. Dudley enjoys having room to stretch his legs, investigate important smells, patrol his property, and occasionally use his talking voice without the neighbors calling an emergency community meeting. A tall, sturdy, and secure fence will be important because Dudley is curious, intelligent, and fully capable of pursuing his own agenda. You might assume a massive 80-pound dog could hop into a car without assistance. Dudley would like you to stop making assumptions. That particular feature was apparently not included in his operating system, so he currently needs someone to scoop him up and hoist all 80 pounds into the vehicle. Once loaded, he is a good car rider. It is simply getting him inside that doubles as leg day. Dudley also enjoys the water and would love a family that includes him in outdoor adventures, backyard hangouts, and everyday life. He is goofy, gentle, affectionate, and unbelievably devoted to his people. He may take up a little extra room in the house, but he will fill every bit of it with fluff, laughter, and love. Located in Washington and ready to meet you! Calm, observant, affectionate, and carrying himself with the quiet confidence of a dog who believes every home deserves a watchful, adoring guardian, Jetson here has a way of making you and yours feel both welcomed and wonderfully looked after. Honestly, Lab too! Whatever combination created him, the result is one remarkably balanced, beautiful dog with a snowy white coat, a fluffy curled tail, and a presence that immediately puts people at ease. His personality is what truly sets him apart. Jetson isn't busy looking for excitement. He's content simply being part of whatever life is happening around him. If contractors are working on your house, congratulations, they've just been assigned an honorary project manager. Jetson will politely supervise from a comfortable distance, quietly checking in on everyone's progress while making sure the operation continues running smoothly. Guests are greeted warmly, deliveries are acknowledged, squirrels are respectfully monitored, and every so often he'll take another lap around the yard as though he's completing another item on his very important daily checklist. Despite his guardian instincts, Jetson is incredibly gentle and social. He gets along beautifully with other dogs of all sizes and carries himself with an easy confidence that helps everyone around him rest easy. He also tested wonderfully with cats, showing the same calm, respectful attitude that seems to define every interaction he has. This is a dog who seems to believe that there is very little in life worth overreacting to. For a dog with such an impressive presence, Jetson has an incredibly soft heart. He's a true gentle giant who loves leaning in for affection, welcomes treats with the most careful, polite mouth, and is always ready for a little extra love, and he rides beautifully in the car- making him an easy companion for errands, road trips, or afternoon adventures. One of his favorite discoveries is the pool, where he's more than happy to cool off before returning to his very important supervisory duties. His confidence never feels overwhelming. Instead, it creates an incredible sense of steadiness. He is a dog who becomes the dependable center of the home without ever asking for the spotlight. He isn't demanding, chaotic, or constantly seeking entertainment. He simply enjoys being wherever his people are, keeping a loving eye on his family while soaking up the simple pleasures of life. Jetson would thrive with a family that appreciates the natural traits of his supposed breeds. While he's wonderfully friendly and welcoming, he's also observant by nature and enjoys having a home, yard, or property that he can proudly keep an eye on.
