In more overwhelming group settings, he can still get a bit unsure, so he does best with calm, thoughtful introductions and steady, low-stress environments where he can feel comfortable.Once Joseph feels safe, his true personality shines—he’s sweet, affectionate, and loves being close to his people. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to belong and be part of the family.Joseph is looking for a home that will give him a little patience at first and a lot of love in return.

Hello, I'm Honey! I am a fun-loving gal with lots of love to give! I love belly rubs and chew toys and spending time with my people. I completed some basic obedience training and spent time in daycare with other dogs during my stay here, and while I am very smart and get along with other dogs I do have a tendency to guard my spaces like my room or my crate, which is a common behavior for my breed. I'd do great as a loyal guard dog and would protect my home as it comes naturally to me, however it would be best if I go to a home with someone who is familiar with my breed
