Story
Chance is the sweetest of boys! He can be a bit submissive and apparently had never been inside a house before but has been adjusting and loves being around people. He is good with most dogs, does best with nonaggressive calm dogs and with cats too. Because of his size we do not recommend a home with young children but he is equally great with men and women. Chance was found wandering the neighborhood of our rescue and no owner was ever located. He does require fencing that cannot be dug under or if no fence, always on a leash outside. He wants to be with his people and is therefore not a candidate for a livestock guardian dog - must be an indoor dog. He would love a home with soft dog beds and long walks to go on.

Story
PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW THOROUGHLY Hi I'm Eeyore! Yes, like from Winnie the Pooh. No, I’m not sad, I’m just 130 pounds of love in a brindle-and-white cuddle suit. Listen, I know I’m a big boy. Like... really big. But here’s the thing: I identify as a lap dog. 🐶I will sit on you. I will lean on you. Once I get to know you, I will lovingly invade your personal space like it’s my full-time job. (And I take my job very seriously.) 😉 I’m 2 years old, which in big-dog years means I’m basically a sweet, oversized toddler. I’ve got energy for walks and playtime, but I’m also 100% down to binge-watch TV 📺with you and pretend your legs are a La-Z-Boy made just for me. Now, here’s the deal: I need to be your one and only. 😍 No other pets, please. I’m not great at sharing the spotlight, the couch,🛋 or your affection. I want you, all to myself. Is that too much to ask from a 130-pound snuggle monster? If you’ve got a big heart💜 (and maybe a reinforced couch), I’d love to meet you. I promise to be your giant shadow, your cuddle buddy, your loyal protector, and your emotionally dependent house hippo. Love, Eeyore 🐾 P.S. I’m seriously cute. Come see for yourself. ____________________ NOTE: we CANNOT email information about fees. APPLICATION: https://theanimalleague.org/adoption-application/ Please visit https://theanimalleague.org/faqs/ for the answers to our most commonly asked questions such as, "what are your fees," "when can I visit," and "what is your adoption process." IMPORTANT: THE BEST WAY TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS PET IS TO FILL OUT OUR NO OBLIGATION, NO FEE ADOPTION APPLICATION. WE CAN NOT ALWAYS ANSWER GENERAL EMAIL INQUIRIES AND CALLS. We are volunteer based and taking care of injured, neglected pets is our priority, if you have not heard back from us within a week of applying, this pet had a best match application ahead of yours. We will keep your application on file for 6 months in case you see another pet of interest. If you do see another pet of interest, email us (when you fill out an adoption application you will receive an email contact) to tell us you would like your application applied to that pet. Thank you for your understanding! We always welcome new volunteers!

Story
I am going on 7 months old. I am healthy and alert and am ready to fulfill my life's purpose as a working dog. Of course this doesn't mean you can't turn me into a house dog, but be aware that I am highly intelligent and energetic so I MUST have enrichment activities, room to run and roam (ideally), and time with my master. I can't be turned into a couch potato easily or quickly. I and my litter mates have been raised by a goat hearder. Although conventional steps were not taken in our upbringing we are well adjusted and trained to be a farm dog. We may be used to being kept outside, but we are highly cared for.We could be your trusted companion and or as a hearder and guardian of your property. Our mother is 1/2 Anatolian Shepard 1/2 Belgian Malinoise. Our father is a doberman pincher. I don't know if he's a pure bread. This was an unplanned pregnancy and I we are truly heartbroken to have arrived here asking you to care and love me and keep me till I die.

Story
Hello there. That's me, relaxing in our food bowl. 88degrees at 7pm, it was a hot but fun day. In the evening our human takes us for runs and play time that can last close to dawn. I am one of 6 females in a litter of 7 all together. An unplanned pregnancy for my Mom who is 1/2 Anatolian Shepard 1/2 Belgian Malinoise. My father is the Doberman across the back fence. I am going on 7 months old. I am exceptionally intelligent, extremely energetic and healthy, With the help of the family I'm really getting this being a Dog thing down. I and my litter mates have been fortunate enough to be raised by an experienced goat hearder. Although conventional steps were not taken in our upbringing we are well adjusted and trained to be working dogs. We may be used to being kept outside (barns are okay with me for life) but be assured we are well loved and cared for. I could turn out to be your trusted companion and/ or as a hearder and guardian of your property.
