Sage is a 4-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix with a calm presence, soft eyes, and a heart as big as her 70-pound frame (though she should ideally be closer to 80 pounds). She has the classic loyalty of her breed without the demands of a working-dog lifestyle — Sage is very much an indoor companion and loves being part of the household. She gets along well with other dogs and naturally carries a confident, leader-type energy. She currently shares her space with a female Great Pyrenees with zero issues — they’re a peaceful pair! With her steady temperament and gentle nature, Sage brings a calm, grounding energy wherever she goes. Sage would thrive with a family who appreciates a loyal shadow, a soft cuddle buddy, and a dog who wants to be with her people more than she wants a job. If you're looking for a serene, devoted companion wrapped in a big, beautiful package, Sage might just be the one. Ready to give this lovely girl the home she deserves? Come meet Sage — she’s waiting to be your calm and constant friend. If you are interested in adopting Sage, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet.
