Story
Meet Colton!  Colton is a 4-year-old Lab/Border Collie/Shar Pei super mutt (according to his sibling’s DNA test!) and weighs about 45 lbs. He is incredibly smart, expressive, and a total tease when he wants to be—his emotions are written clearly on his face. Colton has lots of energy and would love an active family to keep up with him! He can be a little mischievous, and his favorite game is “catch me if you can,” followed closely by doing parkour in his kennel. Colton’s mother was rescued by animal control from a horrible abuse situation, and she gave birth to 8 beautiful puppies in the pound while charges were being filed against her owner. Once they were released, the rescue took in the mother and pups, and all have been thriving ever since. Colton is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $250. To apply, visit roseacresrescue.org.September 15, 2026, 11:48 pm
