Story
Meet Hank! Hank is an oversized teddy bear with the happiest heart ever. Hank genuinely loves EVERYTHING in this world. People? Obsessed. Dogs? Instant best friends. Toys? Absolute favorite thing though they usually only survive about 24 hours before becoming fluff confetti. This goofy boy has the cutest Tigger bounce when he gets excited, so he may accidentally bump into little kids just because hes so full of joy; never out of meanness. Hes simply a giant, happy baby who doesnt quite realize his own size. Hank loves running around the yard, playing tug-of-war, and being part of whatever youre doing. Hes been around cats and couldnt care less about them either way. Hes friendly, affectionate, and always ready to make a new friend. He is potty trained, crate trained, and already knows how to sit and shake like the smart boy he is. If youre looking for a goofy, loving, loyal best friend who will keep you laughing every single day, Hank is your guy. Just be prepared for endless love and a very large shadow following you everywhere.   Adoption fee: $200 (house trained, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.)   Please visit our website www.summitssanctuary.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Meet Dolly – The Shy Sweetheart with a Spark!  Dolly is a lovely 4-year-old white Lab/German Shepard  mix weighing about 55 lbs. She’s a fun-loving girl with lots of energy and a gentle, sensitive side. While she can be a bit shy at first, once she feels safe, her sweet personality truly shines through! Dolly is currently learning her manners, leash walking, and crate training — and she’s making great progress! She does well with male dogs, cats, and kids, making her a wonderful fit for a patient, loving home. This pretty girl is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and heartworm negative. Adoption Fee: $250 If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little time to bloom, Dolly will fill your days with love and joy once she finds her confidence! June 1, 2026, 10:24 pm

Story
Adopted Princess 4 years ago from Huntsville Alabama Animal Services. Daughter adopted pet. Princes is 8 years old today. She is house trained. She eats Hills Prescription Diet food to help maintain good health. Very good around children; very playful with her toys and enjoys interaction with toys and kids. Adapts well with adults and always looks for their approval. Socializes pretty well around other dogs. Not sure how she would respond around cats. She is an inside/outside dog. Once outside, she takes on her hunter instincs and loves chasing squirrels, birds, and other small forms of mammals. Very good eyesight and hearing. Maintains weight around 65-to-70 lbs.
