Story
Buddy is a 2-year-old male Lab/Golden Retriever mix who must be neutered before adoption.  He came to PAHS after being found as a stray; and his owner never came looking for him.  Buddy has a beautiful, shiny, and healthy tan coat with white markings.  He weighs 57 pounds so he is considered to be a large young adult dog.  Buddy is a friendly fellow; and he is a high energy type of guy.  He loves to play outside in our fenced yard.  He is 'dog selective' so if you have another dog we would require you to bring your dog to have a meet & greet with Buddy. Buddy is lovable and would do well in a home with older children (due to his activity level).  He will need a securely fenced yard where he can safely play and get the zoomies out.  Buddy can't wait to his very own family!  Come meet him soon!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  January 20, 2026, 8:10 pm

Story
Bailey is an 1-year-old male Lab mix who must be neutered before adoption.  He was brought to PAHS by county animal control after being found out in the county as a stray.  Bailey has a black coat with white markings; and a dirty ear from playing outside!  He weighs 42 pounds; so he is a medium sized adult dog.  Bailey is still very much a puppy!  He is super playful and frisky; and would need a securely fenced yard where he can play.  Bailey is good with both children and other dogs.  This adorable guy is going to make a great addition to any family who takes up a lot of time with him.  He is still just a big baby who needs lots of play time and love.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Story
Dodgi is a 2-year-old female Lab mix who must be spayed before adoption.  She is an owner turn in because her owner can no longer take care of her.  This sweet girl has a snow white coat with black markings that include a big black spot on her back, black ears, and a black circle around one eye.  We think Dodgi is one of the prettiest dogs we have ever seen.  She only weighs 34 pounds so she is a great size to fit in just about anywhere.  Pretty is as pretty does--and Dodgi is a big sweetheart!  She has an easy going, pleasant personality that makes her a favorite with everyone.  Dodgi would be great in a home with children and other dogs.  She is very timid and shy at first; but she will warm up quickly to a kind word.  Dodgi will bond quickly with her adopter.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.
