Story
Buddy is a 2-year-old male Lab/Golden Retriever mix who must be neutered before adoption.  He came to PAHS after being found as a stray; and his owner never came looking for him.  Buddy has a beautiful, shiny, and healthy tan coat with white markings.  He weighs 57 pounds so he is considered to be a large young adult dog.  Buddy is a friendly fellow; and he is a high energy type of guy.  He loves to play outside in our fenced yard.  He is 'dog selective' so if you have another dog we would require you to bring your dog to have a meet & greet with Buddy. Buddy is lovable and would do well in a home with older children (due to his activity level).  He will need a securely fenced yard where he can safely play and get the zoomies out.  Buddy can't wait to his very own family!  Come meet him soon!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  January 20, 2026, 8:10 pm

Story
Rocky is a 2-year-old male Lab mix who must be neutered before adoption.  He was an owner surrender because his family was moving and could not take Rocky with them.  Rocky has a gorgeous, shiny, chocolate coat with just a bit of white markings on his chest.  He weighs 61 pounds so he is a large dog.  Rocky is, to quote a staff member, a handful!  He is high energy and quite playful.  Rocky would require a securely fenced yard where he could safely play.  We believe he would be good with other large dogs; but, if you have another dog we would suggest you bring your dog out for a meet & greet with Rocky.  Rocky should NOT be in a home with cats.  He would be good with older children.  Due to his size and energy level he shouldn't be in a home with young/small children.  Rocky's owner shared he loves playing in water.  Come meet our zippy and sporty fellow--Rocky!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.
