Story
Pending: Batman is almost 2 years old and was born January 2024. He was found outside of a Walmart and given to me for free. He is a Labradoodle but has a drop coat so his hair does not mat and is not super curly. He is very high energy and has a little training done by me. Sit, lay down, paw, touch. I’ve had him since he was a puppy. He is great with cats, other dogs, and children. Our family has grown and we can no longer accommodate his energy levels along with us moving soon. If you adopt him please note you need to be able to afford regular grooming, he gets a trim about every 4-6 weeks. He is up to date on his shots. I would suggest to get him into obedience training or to train him because he is so smart. He loves other animals, dogs in particular so if you have room for multi dog home he would fit right in. Batman is so sweet, protective, smart, and a joy to know. We are heartbroken that we have to rehome him but it’s what is best for everyone. He comes with a large kennel.

Luca (A138980) is a 2-year-old lab mix who weighed over 50 lbs at intake!11/08/25 This handsome and outgoing guy is Luca! Luca arrived at the shelter with his daughter Muriel due to housing issues. Luca was described as being an outgoing and friendly guy who loves humans of all ages. He was even said to do well with cats. Luca does not really like other dogs, with the exception of Muriel. He is hoping his next home will not have to be shared with other dogs. Luca was said to be housebroken and kennel trained. He does not do well with small animals and will hunt them. Luca does love all things cozy! He wants comfy blankets and beds in his kennel! He has been known to be vocal at times, but he was said to generally be a gentle dog. Story
Sweetpea (A139797) is an 1-year-2-month-old Labradoodle x Husky mix who weighed 46.6 pounds on intake. 12/05/25 Miss Sweetpea is back at the shelter after her most recent owner suffered an inury that prevented them from being able to properly care for Sweetpea. Sweetpea is a very high energy dog that still needs some help with her manners and basic training. She is very food motivated, so enrolling her in a basic obedience class with a certified trainer would be a great place to start! Sweetpea was said to do well with the other extra large dog in her most recent home. She can be shy around strangers, but she is very loving once comfortable! Sweetpea needs some help fine tuning her potty training and also needs a patient and consistent home that can help her feel comfortable in a kennel again. If you think you are that special home for Sweetpea, give us a call!Foster update: Sweetpea was a delight in foster! She still has a few naughty tendencies and will steal human food if given the opportunity. Sweetpea was also noted to become a bit too rambunctious around the children in the home when they were running and playing. If you have children in the home; this is something to keep in mind. Please read her profile below for more information on how she behaved in her original home setting.09/25/25 This talkative lady is Sweetpea! Sweetpea was surrendered to the shelter after having an unplanned litter of puppies. Her puppies are now weaned, and she is looking for her new place to call home. Sweetpea was described as a shy but friendly dog that warms up quickly and is motivated by treats! She was said to do well with babies, children, and women but is timid of new people and may bark. Sweetpea was stated to be kennel-trained but is not fully housebroken. She knows the command but is still working on her basic obedience and would benefit from attending a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to build her confidence. Sweetpea does have a few puppy tendencies like digging, chewing, jumping on people, and getting into the trash. She is looking for a patient owner who will continue to work with her. If you are interested in meeting Miss Sweetpea, please let us know! December 6, 2025, 1:10 am

Zuri has a little white on her chest and a great fluffy coat. She came in from Barrow with her 2 other female siblings. All 3 are currently very friendly. It is a MUST to keep up with their socialization! They are very smart and all are using their dog door to go potty, keeping their kennel area clean. Beautiful girl came in from the Bethal area with 2 other puppies. They are all wonderfully sweet. An approved application needs to be on file before a visit can be arranged.
