Story
After losing her home to a fire and ending up in a shelter, Lady is ready for a loving home and a fresh start!
Lady is an affectionate, playful, and deeply loyal girl who loves fetch, car rides, playful dog friends, belly rubs, and being by your side. She’ll happily keep herself busy lizard hunting or be your gardening companion.
She knows "sit," “good girl,” and “go outside.” She’s food motivated, takes treats gently from your hand, and her temp foster says she’s housetrained and sleeps quietly through the night.
Lady bonds deeply with her people and does best with a confident, consistent handler and a calm, structured routine. She isn’t comfortable with quick movements, but with clear expectations and a predictable routine, she settles in and shines.
She’s just as happy hanging out at home with her person as she is heading to daycare for some fun with her doggie friends.
Could Lady be the loyal companion you’ve been looking for?

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.
HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com or the fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/
When you are on the UAF website select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
