Hi there! My name is Jeff and I'm a 2 year old male black Labrador Retriever Mix currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home! Jeff came to Santa Barbara Humane from an overcrowded area where many animals are in need of care and homes. Now safe and ready for a fresh start, Jeff is looking for a family to call their own. Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission. Hope to see you soon!

Mamba is a beautiful silver Labrador who was found running loose in the city of Lompoc. She’s clearly a dog who came from a loving home — her gentle demeanor, sweet nature, and excellent leash manners all show she was well cared for. Now she’s hoping someone recognizes her and helps her find her way back.If you know who Mamba belongs to, or think you might, please share her photo with your neighbors in Lompoc. Getting the word out could be the key to reuniting her with her family.Her stray hold will be ending soon, and if her people aren’t found, Mamba will be available for adoption. She’s a dog who would much rather be with people than in the shelter, and she lights up whenever someone stops to give her attention. Whether she reunites with her original family or finds a new forever home, Mamba deserves to be back in a warm, loving place.
