Story
Albus is a VERY sweet, gentle and sensitive boy. We are not his first owners but have had him for a few years and have worked with him on calming his natural poodle anxiety, managing his hyperactivity, and working through his skittish-ness. Through it all he has been a good running buddy, an excellent(if a bit overeager) children's playing companion and made a great lap dog. He also has a bit of separation anxiety and prefers to be very close to his people as much as possible. Unfortunately, due to some changes at home, he has had to go from being a lap-dog to being a mostly-outside-dog, and this really doesn't work well for his personality. So we are trying to find him a better living situation where he can be the lap (or at least laying at your feet) dog that he really wants to be.

Mavis is a very sweet tempered adult female labrador retriever. She LOVES all people - male, female, tall, short, older, younger - doesnt matter to her! She is also very smart. She is house-trained, she knows how to use a pet door, she sleeps well in her crate, and she loves walks. She does not appear to be anxious except when new dogs approach her. She has been attacked by a dog in the past, so she takes time to trust new dogs now. She may do best as an only dog. She does not bark a lot - only occasionally. She knows to sit and takes treats with a soft mouth. She also knows wait, stay, and sit commands. She does tend to follow her foster mom around and likes to be near her :) She also loves pets, scratches, and ear rubs from anyone and everyone! She is an awesome dog and deserves a wonderful home.
