Hello! Im Tex. Im the lankiest lab mix with long legs and a goofy smile. I recently got into a foster home and I've really started to blossom! Now all I'm waiting for is for someone to come along and give me a home! I can be a bit silly sometimes and sometimes I like to act like a puppy! Im extremely curious about the world and Id love a family who likes adventure. Im just looking for someone to love and have fun with! My foster mom figured out I'm not a huge fan of water or storm drains, but she's slowly been working with me to get used to them! I have a sister who is about 1/3 of my size and we've gotten along amazingly since day one. Sometimes I don't realize my size so I will need to continue to learn that I can't bowl over my smaller friends. I think I prefer being around dogs who are smaller than me at the moment but I really do thrive having another dog around the house! I've been interested in kids and people around us, but I can be a bit weary of strangers sometimes. But once you're my person, you're mine for life! We do not see Adopt-a-Pet inquiries! Hi, I'm Merida! I'm Grand River's 4-year-old cutie. I'm a lab-shepherd mix with the funniest ears that stand up but aren't quite shepherd ears. Some dogs and environments make me nervous, but when Im comfortable I'm a great girl! I know how to sit and have pretty good leash manners already, plus one of the volunteers has learned that I'm very eager-to-please and pick up tricks rather quickly. I learned "focus" in under 30 minutes where I have to watch my person for a short period of time. Treats seem to motivate me more than toys do right now and I'm very polite while taking them. I'd like a calmer environment for my new home but wouldn't mind someone who has a lot of friends coming over, I always love new human friends. With the proper introductions I can really thrive with other doggo friends my size or larger. We do not see Adopt-a-Pet inquiries!
