Story
Hello, my name is Charlie. I am four years old, and I weigh 104 pounds. Unfortunately, my mom had to go into an assisted-living location and they would not allow me to go with her. I need a home that’s ready for a big dog like me. Currently, we’re looking for a foster or an adopter so that I have a spot to decompress. I am a sweet boy and grew up with a small dog. We didn’t have kids around, and because of my size, small children are not an option. Please email Petadopt@hotmail.com for an application for me. I’d love to meet you soon. Thank you for reading about me.

Story
Meet Milo - a handsome year and a half year old labradoodle mix, approximately 70 pounds. Milo is dog and people friendly. He is looking for an active house where he will go for walks and play. He also loves to hang out and snuggle too. He had a rough beginning but he is a rock star now. He was owned by a college student who didn't have time for him. He was going to have him put down. A wonderful lady heard about him, saved him, and surrendered him to our rescue. Mile was shy and under socialized when we got him. However, our trainer and volunteers have spent lots of time working with him. He is now very social and no longer shy. He is very ready for a family of his own to love, and be loved by! Inquiries in Tampa Bay only please.

Piper is just the sweetest girl ever! She loves her little brother, Rudy, soooo much! Unfortunately, their momma is in declining health and is unable to care for them anymore. Please consider adopting both of these doodles together. Piper is very calm and relaxed and has a "go with the flow" attitude. She would be a wonderful companion to a single person, or a family!

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Please take a look at sweet Ellie's face. She is 5 years old. No-one else stepped up for this girl - she has been saved from being euthanized. Her owner could no longer afford to keep her. Ellie has one medical condition, she has epilepsy.  We believe that it may have been brought on at the age of 2 months when she was spayed and died on the operating table, before being revived! Ellie is good with other dogs and she loves cats. House trained.  An excellent leash walker, although she can be a little stubborn!!  She loves to sunbathe. She is a mellow, easy-going girl.  She already has a frosty face and not a mean bone in her body. We hope to find a forever home that can treat her and is familiar with seizures or a foster/hospice home. She is having a seizure approximately once every 3 weeks. Ellie takes medications plus CBD oil to help with seizures. Her ideal home would be a person or family that is home more often than not.schedule. Due to a lifetime of seizures, sweet Ellie has lost a little of her ability to control urine. She has no problem wearing doggy diapers if the need arises. In a new environment, for the first day or so, she will be unsettled and pace a lot. We will continue to provide her seizure medications when she is in her forever home. Adoption fee sponsored Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
Ares is a 7 1/2 months old (Jan 2024) lab mixed breed dog who is both crate trained and house trained. While he may initially be reserved, once he feels comfortable, his true personality shines through. Ares gets along well with other dogs and kids, and although he may be curious about cats, it's likely he can coexist with them given the right introduction. Ares is described as very sweet and loving, and he enjoys expressing his affection through giving kisses. He thrives on social interactions and would be happiest with a canine companion to play and interact with. Overall, Ares is a wonderful and loving dog who would make a great addition to a loving and active family. He is ready to find his forever home where he can receive the love and attention he deserves. Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Joanie is an adorable Lab/Shepherd mix estimated to be between six and eight months old and weighs approximately 36lbs. She may be a little shy at first, but after a few minutes, she becomes a very loving and eager-to-please pup. Joanie enjoys playing with toys and is also fond of rolling in your lap for some affection. She gets along well with both big and small dogs and is currently learning proper cat etiquette. Joanie has been doing great with her crate and house training, which is impressive for her age. To provide the best care for Joanie, it would be ideal for her to find an active family who is willing to continue working on her manners and training. She is a smart and trainable pup who will thrive with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement. Need a foster or adopter but need to secure one before receiving into the rescue. Scheduled to arrive April 7th 2024. Located in Pinellas County, Florida
