Story
Snowball / Redington Beach Available for adoption www.VIPRESCUE.org Breed: Poodle mix Age: 1 years approximately Sex: Male Weight: 5.5 lb currently Color: White DOGS: Yes, he will require another, similar / Small size dog to play with in his new home. Kids: Respectful 12+ Say hello to Snowball!! We are in love with this little energetic fluffball with the cutest face. He is a healthy and happy little boy who weighs in at a whopping 5.5 lbs.!!!! He came into our rescue after a Good Samaritan saw him being dumped in a Walmart parking lot. 😡 They couldn’t keep him themselves, and wanted only the best for him so they contacted VIP Rescue. Snowball is a very smart little boy, who is learning new things everyday. He learned to use the puppy stairs to get in and out to the back yard for play and to work on potty training. He is a busy little guy who lovvvvees the other dogs in his foster home to play with. Snowball also loves his leash walks. Since Snowball loves to play with the other pups in his foster home, he will need another young active dog in his home to play with and please make sure you also have the time to dedicate to him. Remember, young dogs require ALOT of time, patience and consistency, Snowball is working on potty training and house manners. It’s pretty clear to us he did not have any guidance prior to coming in to rescue. We are getting him on a routine to help especially with potty training. (He has been working on pee pad training), his tiny bladder can not hold it for several hours, he will need patience while he is learning. Snowball also needs a home with watchful eyes to make sure he doesn’t get into things he is not supposed to. A work from home family, or one who only works away from the home for just a few hours a day will be given preference. Snowball would love a family that will continue to show him all the good things that life has to offer. Since he is currently so small, If there are children in the home, it is recommended that they be 12+ and small dog experienced. He is fast and so small he can get under feet quickly and sometimes unnoticed. He will need to be in a home where his people are agile, active and very alert to keep an eye out for him. He is looking for a home with another, similar sized young active dog for him to play with and learn from. Please no big dogs. He does have a playmate in his current foster home, maybe you would consider adopting both? Tilly is 4 years old, and is his best friend in the foster home, (see separate post.) Snowball is neutered, current on his age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and started on his heartworm prevention and flea prevention. If you’d like to add this little cutie to your family, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. We do check county property records and public court records. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and numbers for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pet's estimated lifespan. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio of the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. Thank you for thinking rescue. PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! 🩵 Hi, I’m Oliver 🐾🩵 I’m an 7-year-old Poodle gentleman looking for a forever family to spend my golden years with. Don’t let my age fool you—I still have plenty of energy and so much love to give! My foster says I’m the definition of an easy, well-mannered companion. I walk beautifully on a leash and enjoy my 1.5-mile morning walks every day. I’d happily go even farther if it wasn’t so hot outside! After our walks, I’m perfectly content relaxing at home and being by your side. I’m completely housebroken, non-destructive, and have wonderful house manners. I sleep peacefully in my own dog bed all night long and have never needed a crate. I’m friendly with everyone I meet and get along great with other dogs. My ideal home would have a securely fenced backyard where I can safely enjoy some outdoor time, and I’d love having a friendly dog sibling to keep me company. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, easygoing companion who is already the complete package, I might be the perfect match. I’m ready to spend my days with a family who will love me as much as I love them. 🩵🐾 Adoption FEE: $200 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. Story
🧛‍♂️🐾 **Meet Beet Root!** 🐾🧛‍♂️ Vampire or dog? We're still not entirely sure. Beet Root came to us after being found with a neck laceration. Thankfully, his injury has healed beautifully. However, many people ask about his purple coloring. No, he wasn't born that way, and no, he isn't secretly part eggplant. His finder sprayed a purple wound treatment on him, and that's where his unique look comes from! Beet Root is a dog who likes to do things on **Beet Root Time**. He came with a little spice and took about a week to fully trust his foster family. Once he decided they were worthy, though, he let them into his circle and has been steadily building confidence ever since. He's learning that humans can be pretty great—as long as they respect his boundaries. One important rule: **nothing on the butt!** Beet Root is not a fan of butt scratches and would appreciate everyone keeping their hands to themselves in that department. Underneath that spicy exterior is a sweet, affectionate boy with a loving and cuddly side. The fastest way to win him over? A game of fetch. Fetch is Beet Root's absolute favorite activity, and he'll happily spend hours chasing a ball and bringing it back for another throw. He's also a big fan of treats and is more than willing to work for snacks. When he's not playing fetch, Beet Root is great at entertaining himself. He loves tossing toys around, carrying them proudly, and growling at them during epic battles that only he understands. Beet Root is looking for a patient adopter who will allow him to build trust at his own pace and appreciate his quirky personality. Once you're in his circle, you'll discover a loyal companion with plenty of love to give. 📍 Learn more about Beet Root and our adoption process at: 🌐 **[www.runawaysanimalrescue.org](http://www.runawaysanimalrescue.org)** =

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. MEET ELLA! At 12 weeks old and 8 pounds , Ella is the sweetest little Doodle/Terrier mix you could ever hope to meet! Ella is playful, friendly, and always happy to have a toy in her mouth—but what really makes this girl special is her calm, loving personality. She’s a HUGE lover who wants to be close to her people and soak up all the attention she can get. ❤️ She loves everyone she meets, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is just an all-around sweet little girl. Like any young puppy, Ella is still learning! She’s doing great with crate training and is working hard on potty training. She’ll need a patient family ready to continue teaching her and helping her become the best girl she can be. Because Ella is still so young, she needs a home where someone is home most of the day to give her the time, attention, supervision, and consistency puppies need. Ella still needs: • One more round of puppy vaccinations • Spay surgery • Microchip All of this is included in her adoption fee! Adopters must live near one of our participating veterinary locations in Riverview, Wesley Chapel, St. Pete, or Sarasota so she can complete her required veterinary care. Fostered in Riverview Could Ella be your new best friend? ❤️ Apply today at 4luckydogs.org !      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 15, 2026, 6:02 pm
