She is approximately 2 years old. Emmie Rose has been a beloved personal dog and has known life in a home, not a kennel.She is house trained, walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, and does well with other dogs and cats. Emmie Rose thrives on companionship and loves being close to her people. She enjoys lounging indoors just as much as spending time outside.Emmie Rose is being rehomed through no fault of her own. After a hurricane, her owner was forced into a rental located directly beside a highway, creating an unsafe environment without the ability to install fencing. Her owner made the difficult and loving decision to seek a safer, more stable home for her rather than risk her well-being.This girl is affectionate, social, and eager to please. She would do best in a home where safety and structure are in place, and where she can continue to enjoy the comforts of family life. A fenced yard or secure outdoor setup would be ideal, though not required with appropriate supervision and leash walks.Emmie Rose is truly a wonderful dog who is simply looking for her next forever home.
