Briar is a nine-month-old black and white Labradoodle with a wavy, scruffy coat, warm reddish-brown facial furnishings, and the kind of soft, cuddly presence that makes you want to scoop him up and never put him down. He arrived at Cobb Animal Services as a stray on June 10th, and how a puppy this sweet and this beautiful ended up on his own is simply hard to imagine. The people who know him say he couldn't be any sweeter or cuter - and one look at that scruffy, soulful face confirms every word of it.
Briar already knows sit and shake - two commands that speak to just how willing and eager to please he is at only nine months old. He is soft, cuddly, and gentle in a way that is remarkable for a young dog his age. At 44 lbs and still growing, he is estimated to reach 55 to 70 lbs as an adult - a big, beautiful, fluffy boy with so much wonderful dog still to come.
Labradoodles are known for their gentle, loving nature and their deep devotion to their people, and Briar has every one of those qualities already shining through at just nine months old. He is the kind of dog who will curl up beside you at the end of the day and make everything feel a little better just by being there.
Briar is sweet, soft, cuddly, and utterly gorgeous - a stray who deserves to become somebody's most treasured companion.
