Story
Meet Yoshi! Yoshi is a sweet, curly-furred pup with an adorable white chest and a gentle personality that’s sure to win you over. He’s a little on the calm and reserved side at first, but once he feels comfortable, his playful spirit shines through. Yoshi loves staying busy with his favorite hard bones and fabric toys, and he’s always up for a fun play session. Don’t let his mellow nature fool you — Yoshi is confident and enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes, even the big ones! After playtime, he’s happiest curled up on the couch for a cozy cuddle. He especially loves the snow and gets excited to explore and romp around in it. Yoshi is currently working on potty training and has already been making great progress. With patience and consistency, he’ll continue to improve and grow into a wonderful companion. He’s also been around cats in his foster home. He was curious at first, but he hasn’t shown any desire to chase them, and we haven’t had any concerns about his behavior around them. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and cuddly pup to add to your family, Yoshi might just be your perfect match. Story
Meet Tilly!   Tilly is a 14-week-old bundle of energy with the cutest little face, complete with adorable white highlights that make her even more special. She’s a confident, playful pup who is always ready for fun and loves exploring the world around her. She has a big personality for such a little dog and especially loves toys — ropes and fabric toys are her absolute favorites. Tilly is very curious and enjoys following her people and other pets around the house so she doesn’t miss out on anything. She’s also brave and social, happily playing with dogs much bigger than she is. Tilly loves the snow and has a great time bouncing around and playing outside. After she gets her energy out, she’s ready to settle in and relax before the next adventure. She’s currently working on potty training and has already been showing steady improvement. With consistency and patience, she’ll continue to do great. If you’re looking for a fun, confident, and affectionate puppy who will keep you smiling and on your toes, Tilly could be the perfect addition to your family! Story
Carter is a sweet, handsome yellow Lab who truly believes he’s a 20-lb lap dog. Once he’s comfortable, he’s incredibly affectionate, snuggly, & loves being close to his people—on his terms. He’s food-motivated & enjoys learning, making training fun & rewarding. Carter is house-trained, potty-trained, & crate-trained, & does well having his own space. He has a nice balance of independence & cuddle time. Carter is still working on leash manners & can pull, but he’s been making steady progress. He’s also improving with food-guarding behaviors through consistent training & management. He would do best in a home with older, respectful children & calm, well-mannered dogs who respect boundaries. Carter isn’t a fan of pushy dogs & prefers companions who mind their business. Carter does have a prey drive. He currently lives with a rabbit & a cat—he shows little interest in the bunny but does get excited around the cat. A cat-free home or one experienced with dog-cat management would be ideal. Ideal Home A calm, structured home with patient, dog-savvy adopters who will continue working on leash skills, food behaviors, & boundaries. Carter would thrive as an only dog or with a low-key canine companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, snuggly Lab who just wants a safe place to land, Carter has so much love to give! Carter's adoption fee is $0  He is fully vetted for 1 year, Neutered, microchipped, & on monthly preventatives. He did finish heartworm treatement and needs retested in 5 months. Once approved, we will set up a day/time for you to meet Carter.  Please be ready to take him home within 1-3 days after application approval. *We do not accept electric/underground fences. All dogs & cats in the home must be spayed/neutered & up to date on core vaccines & preventatives in order for your application to be approved.* Please live within 1 hour of Elkhart, Indiana ##2550206##
