Story
Bruce is a sweet black lab mix that we adopted when he was 6 months old. He is currently 5½, healthy, up to date on all shots, and on NexGard Plus. He is a wonderful family dog. Our 2-year-old climbs all over him, and he is always patient and gentle. If he gets overwhelmed, he simply walks away to lay somewhere quiet. He is house trained, has never been kenneled, and has no aggression issues. He loves being around people and needs lots of attention and companionship. Unfortunately, with two young children, another older dog, and being gone more than 9 hours a day during the week, we are no longer able to give Bruce the time and interaction he deserves. He is currently on anxiety medication to help with separation anxiety and is also scared of loud noises like thunderstorms and fireworks. Bruce would thrive in a home where someone is around at least part of the day. He has so much love to give and deserves a family that can provide the companionship and attention he craves.
