🐾 Meet Ryder — A Little Sass, a Lot of Personality and Love! 🐾
If you appreciate a dog with a little independence, a dash of vocal sass, and a soft spot for couch cuddles, Ryder might just be your guy! 😂❤️
Ryder is settling into foster life and showing us more of who he is every day. He’s a smart boy who thrives with structure and routine, and he’s already making great progress!
And those eyes? 😍 Ryder has captivating blue eyes that are sure to catch your attention and a personality that will keep you smiling. Fair warning: between the handsome looks and the Husky sass, you might find yourself completely smitten!
🚶♂️ Leash manners? GREAT! Ryder walks beautifully on a harness and makes walks a pleasure. Looking for a running buddy or a four-legged partner for walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures? Ryder could be your guy! He’s got that perfect balance of adventure and chill — happy to get out and explore with you, but just as happy to wind down and enjoy some couch time afterward. 🥾🌲❤️
🏡 House manners? Off to a great start! With a little structure and routine, Ryder has been doing wonderfully and hasn’t had any accidents in his foster home.
🦴 Treat motivated? Absolutely! Ryder loves his snacks, making treats a great way to keep working on training and building a bond with this handsome guy.
🐕 Dog friends? Ryder currently lives with another dog in his foster home and is doing well! He’s generally pretty neutral around other dogs, but sometimes gets curious and wants to say hello. He seems open to making new friends, and we haven’t observed any aggressive behavior toward other dogs. As always, proper introductions are important when meeting new friends! 🐾
🐈 Cats? This is where Ryder could use a little guidance! He’s definitely interested in the resident cats and sometimes wants to chase them. With redirection from his fosters or the cats, he can move on, but he’ll need continued reminders and supervision. He won’t necessarily be your plug-and-play cat’s best friend right away, so a cat-savvy home willing to work on boundaries would be important, or a cat-free home would suit him well.
🏠 Crate training: Ryder is still learning that nighttime routines aren’t the end of the world. He had some BIG feelings the first couple of nights, but consistency is paying off! He’s already making progress and will now walk into his room on his own once he knows where he’s headed. Look at you, Ryder! 👏
👨👩👧👦 Kids: Ryder has done well with the older kids in his foster home. Since he hasn’t been tested with younger children, a home with older, dog-savvy kids would be the best fit for now.
❤️ Cuddles on HIS schedule! Ryder has an independent streak, but don’t let that fool you. He’ll happily hop onto the couch for some snuggles when he’s ready for affection. He does appreciate having his own space when resting, so letting sleeping dogs lie is especially important with this guy.
🌳 Fence manners? Ryder has been respectful of fences in his foster home! As always, supervision and secure fencing are important.
Ryder is a work in progress in the best way. He’s learning the ropes, settling into a routine, and showing us that underneath that independent personality is a dog who wants connection, comfort, and a family of his own.

Ryder’s adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers neuter, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue’s care.
