Story
Dixie is an almost 2 year old ”rescue foster” that we saved from shelter surrender. Prior to her living with us, she was living in a home with a young military family that could not care for her. She is now an appropriate weight, up to date on vaccines, spayed, and micro-chipped. She is house broken and crate trained, but struggles with loud noises and nervous peeing. She is a sweet girl who loves to snuggle and go on walks. She is good with kids but gets overly excited and easily wound up. She is a sock monster! :) and will chew things if left unattended. She has been exposed to other dogs but is scared and timid at the moment and seems to just run from them when they get close. I think she would thrive with a female owner who can focus on positive reinforcement training and has the time to devote to her. Thank you! Adoption Fee: $300 - includes crate, 2 dog beds, bowls, leash, etc. Adoption Fee: $200 - nothing additional included

Story
Kubo, who was previously named Wilder was returned to us this week. His family is devastated and miss Kubo so much but they had to make a really hard decision. We are dedicated to finding Kubo another loving home. Here is what Kubo's previous family had to say about this amazing boy! "Kubo (aka "Kubo and the Two Floofers") - affectionately named for the movie ‘Kubo and the Two Strings' is a happy, playful, and precious 1.5-year-old black lab mix. He loves walks and singing to you the song of his people. He will sit for a treat or anything that he perceives as a treat for exactly 2.8 seconds before the wiggles and excitement overtake him. House trained and crate trained for working away from home during the day (he comes with a giant one) and will keep you warm in the bed at night which is good because he also hogs the covers while stretching to the length of the bed. ?? His previous family absolutely adores him and extremely reluctantly had to bring him back to his first home at the Humane Society as they were asked to become emergency guardians of a preschooler who is afraid of dogs. That being said Kubo is known to jump up on household members as a friendly greeting and needs some help with training so a patient family with older children is preferable over young ones. Kubo loves to play fetch, has wonderful buddies at The Dog Play Spot where he's attended now and then for afternoon bubble parties in the Playful Crew and gets along well with other dogs/puppies. He did have an unrequited love for a cat he shared his previous home with. Unfortunately the cat never returned the affection or desire to play.Kubo will never let you go to the bathroom alone just in case you need a buddy but is afraid of the bath/water. Kubo will make a great addition to a single person seeking a companion that snores like a human after a long day or a loving family that likes to PLAY! Kubo's happy goofy demeanor will be sure to bring a smile to your face!"If you are looking for an adventure dog who LOVES other dogs and playing fetch Kubo is the dog for you!
