Jenny is a wonderful dog. She is a 7 year old labradoodle who has been with us since she was a puppy. Mom=full standard poodle. Dad= 1/2 yellow lab and 1/2 poodle. She is fully house trained and walks well on a leash. Jenny is very smart. She can sit, stay, shake hands, and easily learns new tricks with treat based incentives. She has lived her entire life with two other dogs. One of similar size and one that is much smaller. She is GREAT with both of them. She is not great with cats. She chases them. Jenny is a fantastic family dog. We foster children from tots and teens. Jenny has been patient and kind with all of the children. Jenny will bark when someone comes to the door or enters the yard. She looks to her human for reassurance that the newcomer is safe and welcomed. A fenced yard is ideal, but two daily walks are sufficient. It breaks our hearts to re-home her but we have no choice as we are forced sell our home and move. Please offer our sweet girl a loving home.

This sweet girl is a beautiful 2-year-old chocolate Labradoodle with a playful personality and a lot of love to give. I originally got her from a breeder in Greensboro, North Carolina when she was just a puppy, and she has grown into an incredibly smart and energetic dog. She loves being active, playing, and spending time around people. Labradoodles are known for their intelligence, and she definitely lives up to that. She picks up on things quickly and enjoys attention, interaction, and staying busy. Because she’s such a loving and social dog, I’m looking for a home that will give her plenty of attention, warmth, and care. She would do best with a family or individual who can spend time with her, keep her engaged, and make her feel comfortable and loved. She truly has a great personality and a big heart, and I just want to find a household where she can continue to thrive and be part of a caring environment.

This pet was brought in as a stray and will NOT be available for adoption through our program. All stray animals brought in are posted on the gallery to hopefully be reunited with their families. Each pet is evaluated upon arrival, and throughout their stay, at the Animal Center and we do our best to place the animal in the setting most appropriate for them. Sometimes, they may be better served through one of our Transfer Partners due to the intervention needed, ongoing care required or a quieter setting for that individual. Hi All! Bear is my 5 year old labradoodle. He is a Covid baby that was adopted when my son and daughter still lived at home and I was working from home. It is just me and Bear now and yes, hindsight is 20/20. I am back working in office and poor Bear is alone all day. He loves people (especially me) and hates to be by himself. He barks, pants, and paces incessantly when I leave. He eats his way out of crates and if he cant make his way out he won’t give up. He has ground his bottom teeth down to nubs so a kennel is a big phobia for him. I’ve resorted to medications but that isn’t always helpful. He has started shredding couch cushions in the last few weeks. When I am with him he is a super good boy. Well trained to basic commands. He loves to play ball and go for walks. He enjoys doggy daycare a couple days per week but he really needs someone who can invest the time in desensitization training for separation anxiety. Everyone loves him and he deserves a better life!
