Story
Drake is a really good 8 1/2 year old dog with tons of energy although he does like to sit down after running for 10 minutes but he’s always been lazy that way from a pup. He is very easy going, loves rubs and very loving. He has a few lumps on his body but we’ve learned this is common with labradoodles. He does have a sensitivity to grass so he can’t eat any without getting sick. He has never been on table food and sticks to a strict diet because his tummy doesn't like rapid food changes. He had recent eye surgery to remove some masses but he has recovered and only has a slight bump over one eye. The kids are grown and gone and I travel a lot so he’s boarded more than I’d like. He loves it and enjoys going to daycare but it gets expensive. I’d desire fostering first before adoption.

Hadley is a great dog who was been well trained and is good with all dogs, cats and kids. She is 13 years old, but is in great shape. Our granddaughter has allergies to dogs and can’t come visit while we have her. Please let me know if there are any questions.

Story
Our sweet dog maple is our first baby and we are so sad to see her go. However as we brought our new born home we have found she does not do well with children. Maple is kind, silly, and the biggest snuggler in the world. While it breaks our heart to have to part with her we really desire her to go to someone who has time to take her for walks and give her the attention she deserves as we travel a lot for work as well. Maple has seizures that are often anxiety induced. They only happen before grooming appointments and vet visits. However she does have prescription medications for as needed cases. She does not require daily medication as these seizures are not a daily medical issue. We love her so much and really struggle to see her go. Maple would be a great fit for someone who does not have small children and has time to enjoy her for the gift she is. We really desire a good home for her.

I was adopted from the Wake County Animal Shelter, where my owners and I met; and it was truly love at first sight. I’m a sweet, loyal, and well-trained girl who knows a few tricks and loves being around people. I am house-trained, gentle, and I really enjoy attention and affection. My current owners both work long shifts in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, and even though they love me deeply, their schedules make it hard to give me the time and attention I deserve. They just want to make sure I find a home where I can get a little extra love and companionship.
