Meet Avery 🐾 Hello, my name is Avery! I am a 4-year-old Labrador and Pit mix with a heart full of love to give. I was adopted from the Wake County Animal Shelter, where my owners and I met; and it was truly love at first sight. I’m a sweet, loyal, and well-trained girl who knows a few tricks and loves being around people. I am house-trained, gentle, and I really enjoy attention and affection. My current owners both work long shifts in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, and even though they love me deeply, their schedules make it hard to give me the time and attention I deserve. They just want to make sure I find a home where I can get a little extra love and companionship. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, affectionate, and playful companion, I would be so happy to meet you. Thank you for considering giving me my next forever home! ❤️

Story
My name is Kodi and I am a sweet, quirky, funny, loving boy. I just turned nine years old this month. Due to a terrible accident, my dad is now a double amputee, which makes me super sad and has been a difficult life change. He and my mom are having trouble keeping up with everything, including me, and my dad really needs a trained service dog to help him. My mom and dad got me when I was almost three, and I lived a very unstructured life before I met them and can sometimes have very adolescent qualities. But I really want to please and would do well with a little more training; I do know basic commands, and I still have a ton of energy. I get along great with other dogs, and I also have gotten used to having two cats around our house. Thank you for considering giving me a loving home. The fee is negotiable I just want to ensure I go to a good home and not someone who will treat me poorly or use me in dog fighting or anything.

Story
Lola is a very sweet 9 years old childhood dog. Not nippy and not destructive. She has some eating problems from years of neglect and struggles to be caged for long periods of time due to the days she used to be stuck in a cage. She's an older dog who needs a lot of love and reassurance but we only picked her up because we saw her condition. Still likes to play, good with kids and knows most commands. We have all medical records and have kept them up to date.

Lea is an almost 7 year old lab/pit mix. She is very sweet, great with kids and has a lot of love to give. Lea is a good dog but needs lots of love and attention that our family can no longer offer. She loves food, playing outdoors and playing with people. We sadly are not a good fit for each other anymore and think she deserves a home that can give her all she needs to be happy.
