Story
Odyss was born on Feb 5, 2015 and joined my wife and me 7-weeks later. He's been a wonderful dog for us, and subsequently our two boys (currently 5 and 3) since then. Before 2020, he went to doggie daycare every week day and made many friends with the other dogs and people there. He was neutered at about 7-months old and has had no major health issues. In San Diego, he got seasonal allergies in the spring that led him to lick his paws. He is calm and loves ear and belly scratches. He loves food, water, and short walks. He is friends with everyone he meets, both people and dogs, but doesn't get along with cats. He recently turned 11. He's developed some benign lumps, and is getting hesitant with stairs — the promise of treats are a good motivator. He's also started developing some early-stage laryngeal paralysis. This was at it's worst during the humid summer months, and has gotten better in the colder fall and winter months. These days, he mostly loves laying around sleeping.
