Story
Evo, is a four-year-old Labradoodle with an energetic temperament. We need to rehome him because he is starting to have trouble with our older dog. He is very loving and cuddly toward his people. Also very smart and a good listener, loves to play and snuggle. He just has some resource guarding issues and it is starting to become a problem with our older dog.

Story
Sweet Bee is a 4 month old (as of 7/20/26) female Hound/Am Staff/Cur type mix who has traveled all the way from Southern Virginia to fine a forever home in the North! Bee currently weighs approximately 29 pounds and we expect her to be about 60 pounds full grown. Bee is perhaps the most submissive of her litter. She is spunky but not pushy in any way, shape or form. Cuddly and sweet as can be is BEE. She would probably do well with a canine companion, respectful kids, and can even likely learn to live with a kitty! Very people friendly and social in general, Bee has the makings of an amazing adult! Being a puppy means that Bee will need a family willing to dedicate a lot of time to her. She will need training, exercise, and structure along with plenty of love. Socialization is key for Bee and any puppy. She will need to go to all the places and see all the weirdness the world has to offer. Meet tons of strangers and friends alike. A puppy means starting fresh with house training, crate training and basic training. A puppy class would be an amazing way of accomplishing that last part! She is food motivated and smart as a whip - a lifetime of fun and love.Bee will be available in a couple of weeks. If you are interested in her, please fill out the application

Story
Bugsy is an adorable 14 week old (as of 7/20/26) male baby who currently weighs in at approximately 13 pounds. We believe he will be around 30-35 pounds fully grown. Now the million dollar question - what on earth is he mixed with????!!! Honestly, we cannot say for sure, but current opinion is some sort of herdy farm dog, like a border collie, had a rendezvous` with possibly a whippet and then added a small dash of terrier - perhaps a Feist? It works for us - but if someone wants to do an Embark test on him, we are ALL IN! Bugsy is a sweetheart no matter what his genetics are! He came to us from the SPCA in Martinsville VA. When he came to them as a very young, very small boy, he was suffering from malnutrition and rickets. With their tender care, he recovered completely and is now the picture of health! This kid is social, happy, and just a darling. He loves his toys, his bed, and his people. He is brilliant and eager to learn - all he needs is the right family to help him along his journey. We think he would be fine with a canine companion, could absolutely learn to live in harmony with a dog savvy cat, and would be fine with respectful children. Like any puppy, Bugsy will need a family dedicated to making sure he grows to be an outstanding adult. Puppy classes, socialization, training at home - all part of the puppy process. Is it a lot of work? YES! Is it totally worth it? ONE HUNDRED TIMES YES! We want to see Bugsy paired up with someone who wants to do all the things with him. Take him out and about to see the world, train him and give him rules to help him feel secure and safe, plenty of attention to make him feel at home and loved. Bugsy will be ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks, once his quarantine is complete and he is neutered. In the meantime, if you think he is the right pup for you, please fill out the application

Story
This big ol` beefy dude is Eli! Eli is a 4 month old male Hound/Am Staff/Cur type mix who is ready to charm his way into your life. Currently weighing in at 32 pounds, we expect Eli to be around 60-65 pounds as an adult. Like we said, he`s a beefy dude! Eli came to use from the SPCA in Martinsville VA along with his four sisters. We don`t know much about his background other than it looked bleak until the whole litter found its way to people determined to see them thrive! Eli is pretty laid back as far as puppies go - he`s a thoughtful lad, relatively laid back, but not without puppy energy and joy. He is exceptionally smart - it took him just a few minutes to start to get the hang of what the heck a leash is! He loves people of all shapes and sizes and could certainly be a candidate for a multiple dog household. We have not seen his reaction to cats but assume that he might could annoy them (as most puppies will) but also could learn to live with them with proper direction and correction. Eli is a blank slate who is ready to learn all the things that puppies need to learn. He will need a family that is willing to dedicate the time and energy necessary to raising a pup. This means plenty of socialization by taking him to all the places where he can meet all the people. Training him to be as good of a boy as possible, something that puppy obedience classes would be perfect for. Exercise and mental stimulation are a must. Eli is going to be a pretty big boy when he`s done growing - getting a handle on basic commands and good manners NOW is a key to his success in this world. Eli will be ready for his forever family in a couple of weeks after he passes quarantine and is neutered. If you think that he is the one for you, please fill out the application
