Meet Ryley! This sweet boy can be a little shy at first, but once he’s comfortable, he’s all wiggles. Friendly, bubbly and full of personality, Ryley loves attention and play. In fact this boy, would absolutely thrive with a patient family who will let him take his time to settle in. He’s the kind of pup who will melt your heart with his soulful eyes and warm up to become your little sidekick in no time. If you’re looking for a loving companion who’s equal parts shy and sweet, Ryley is ready to find his forever home, and a family who will adore him for exactly who he is.IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:91 lbs, but he is looking to reach a lower, healthier weight gradually with his new family. HOME TYPE:House or Townhouse- Ryley can be shy and nervous and because of this wouldn`t do well in large and busy apartment buildings. CHILDREN:Yes- Older children potentially compatible. He can be nervous and shy with new people and he is a large, high-energy dog that can be mouthy, jumpy and pushy once comfortable. CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- Cats potentially compatible with slow, proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time dog owner possible. His new family should be willing to work on socialization, as he can be nervous of new environments and new people. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least one in-person training sessions to work on socialization, basic training and manners.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Very human social.
