OUR APP CAN BE FOUND AT haydudeequine.org Hi, I'm Coconut! 🥥 I'm a one-year-old, 45-pound doodle mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. If you're looking for a dog who believes life is better when we're together, I think we should meet! My favorite place in the world? Right next to you...or even better, on your lap! I'm a total cuddle bug, I give amazing hugs, and if you move from one room to another, don't worry—I was planning on going there too. I just really love being with my humans. I'm pretty laid back most of the time, but I also enjoy getting outside, going for walks (I'm a good girl on a leash!), and I've recently discovered how much fun it is to play with other dogs. My buddy Buddy has been teaching me that wrestling and zoomies are pretty awesome, so I'd love a home with another friendly dog to hang out with. I also have a little secret...I'm more athletic than I look! Apparently I've been watching the deer, because I figured out how to jump a fence just like they do. So I'll need a home with a tall, secure fence and people who will keep an eye on me when I'm outside. Let's talk about food...I LOVE it! Don't worry, I'm not food aggressive at all—I just get a little too excited when it's mealtime. I even eat from a puzzle bowl because I think every meal should come with a fun challenge. I think I'd be happy with respectful kids, an active family, and people who want me to be part of their everyday life. I'm not looking to be a backyard dog—I want to be where my family is. I'll happily be your walking buddy, your couch buddy, your errand buddy...basically your everything buddy. One more thing. People sometimes get excited because I'm a doodle mix, but I hope my forever family chooses me because of who I am, not just what I look like. I'm loyal, affectionate, goofy, and ready to love my people with my whole heart. Ruby is a bright, sparkling gem ready to be adopted! She is a unique black labrador/border collie mix, with high energy and a goofball personality, with a white stripe down her snout! She has a heart of gold with whipped cream on top :) Ruby was found with her friend Lucy, they were both left out in the country, luckily by a rescuer's home. She fed and worked with them for a couple of weeks before they were able to get into the rescue and the rest is a BIG FUTURE!! Ruby LOVES to play tug of war with her friends all the time and I really would be best with another calm and confident dog to help keep her busy and tired. She is best in an outgoing, outdoor loving family, maybe YOURS??? Even when I’m super excited to see you after work, I’ll sit patiently at my kennel door until you’re ready to open it. I also listen right away when you tell me "off" if I get a little too curious about what’s on the kitchen counters! Outdoor Enthusiast: If there is water nearby, I’m in it! I love swimming, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors. Whether we’re running in the yard or searching for new smells on a trail, I’m your girl. The Best Road Trip Buddy: I ride perfectly in the car. My favorite thing is to rest my chin on your shoulder from the back seat to let you know I’m enjoying the ride.
