Meet Summer ☀️ Summer is around 1.5 years old and 52 lbs, and she’s the kind of dog who just wants to be right by your side through it all. Whether you’re relaxing at home or heading out for a walk, she’s happiest when she’s with her people. She’s a medium energy girl who enjoys her walks (and does great on leash!) but is just as content soaking up attention and asking for her favorite thing… deep neck scratches. Seriously, she will melt for them 🥹 Summer is also cat friendly. And if you happen to have apples around… you’ll have her full attention 🍎 If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will stick by your side and fill your days with love, Summer might be your girl 💛

Story
Willie's story began when he and his littermate (Waylon) were found abandoned on the side of the road by a local rescuer. They were scared and unsure of people at first but with patience and love and a safe foster home have learned that the world isn't such a scary place after all. They are young and continue to gain confidence every day. Since entering foster care they have started to learn crate training. They are socialized with other dogs, cats, and small children. They have made tremendous progress in trusting people and adapting to home life. They are up to date on vaccines and are got neutered on June 19th. They are ready to begin their happy ever after! These two boys are not bonded and do not have to be adopted together. We just wanted to tell their backstory of how they were rescued so you will know a little about their history. They each deserve a patient family willing to continue helping them build confidence and discover just how wonderful the world and life is!
