Story
Hi, I’m Star! I’m a 9-month-old terrier / lab mix, about 40 pounds of sweetness with a goofy side. My hobbies include: rolling in the grass, flopping over for belly rubs, and giving my best “did you say snacks?” face. I’m a friendly girl who loves a kind voice, and a little scratch, and suddenly I’m leaning into you, wagging, and asking, “Sooo… we best friends now?” Other dogs? Love them. I’m a big fan of playtime and I’m great at doggy socializing! I’d be thrilled to have a dog buddy at home, but I’d also be happy as your one-and-only if you promise extra snuggles. Star is the perfect name for me, because I’m ready to shine in my very own home. If you’re looking for a gentle, playful, affectionate pup who will happily be your cuddle partner and adventure buddy, I’m your girl. Come meet me – I’ll be the one wagging, rolling in the grass, and hoping you’ll fall in love. Star's adoption fee is $275. Story
Hi there, I’m Carmella. Yep, like the chocolate… and I am a whole lot of chocolate to love. I’m a 4-year-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix, spayed, and currently tipping the scales at 110+ pounds of pure sweetness. Don’t worry though, I’ve already signed up for my glow-up era and I’m starting a healthy weight loss plan so I can be my very best self. I didn’t end up here because I was naughty or difficult. My people loved me, but life changed and they couldn’t care for me anymore. I’m still full of trust, love, and a big, hopeful heart. I’m the kind of girl who believes the best days are still ahead. Personality-wise, I’m a calm, gentle soul. I’m not the type who needs to run marathons or bounce off the walls. I enjoy leisurely strolls, sniffing all the good smells, and then heading back inside for a nice nap. I’m wonderfully sweet and affectionate, and I get along great with other dogs and even cats. I’m basically the easygoing roommate everyone wants. I would be perfect for someone who wants a loving companion without the chaos of a super high-energy dog. I’ll happily keep you company while you watch TV, read a book, or work from home. And if you’d like a walking buddy to help me slim down, even better—we can cheer each other on. If you’re looking for a kind, mellow, chocolatey girl who will love you with her whole heart (and maybe share your couch), I might just be your Carmella. I’m ready to start my next chapter… maybe with you. Carmella's adoption fee is $275.
