🐾 Meet Briggs – Looking for His Forever Home 🐾Briggs is a beautiful young, full-blooded Labrador Retriever with the sweetest soul and classic Lab personality—loyal, loving, and always eager to please his person.We adopted Briggs from a breeder in March 2024 with plans for him to be a hunting dog, however, he was diagnosed with osteochondritis dissecans (OCD). In September 2024, Briggs had surgery to successfully correct his right shoulder, and he’s done great since.His left shoulder does have a small cartilage flap, but it has remained stable and has not required surgery. Most importantly—Briggs is not currently in any pain and is living a happy, comfortable life.Under the right circumstances he may be able to hunt…just with care and take it easy on himBriggs also has polyps present, which can occasionally cause some irritation and lead to bloody stools. We are currently adjusting his diet to help manage this, per vets orders. He’s affectionate, gentle, and happiest with his person.
