Hi, I’m Laurie! I’m a sweet pup who’s crate trained and making great strides with my potty training. I’m a little shy around Animal Control Officers and certain dogs, so I can be barrier reactive, but I’m a work in progress and getting better every day. I’m on a special ID food for stomach sensitivity, and I’m being treated for chronic ear infections, which were caused by neglect in the past—but don’t let that discourage you! I’m still a loving and sweet pup, and I’m excited to find a home where I can feel safe and loved. If you have patience, understanding, and a willingness to help me continue to grow, I’d love to meet you and start building a bond. With the right care and attention, I know I’ll be a loyal and wonderful companion.

If you’re looking for a dog who’s always up for some fun, I’m your guy. I’m also a bit of a chatter — friendly, expressive, and social in a “just saying hi” kind of way. I’m currently working on potty training and leash training. I know the basics and am making good progress, though I might pull some when I get excited on walks. I’ll do best with a family who enjoys an active lifestyle and can help me continue learning and growing into the great dog I’m meant to be.
