Say hello to Halsey! Halsey is what the kids today would call "demure". This reserved 2-year-old retriever mix tends to reserve her affections for those she trusts most--a trust that can take some time to earn. She's not adverse to men, though she warms up to women faster. A true girl's girl, we guess! Halsey enjoys sitting on her foster parents' bed staring out the window, keeping a watchful eye over the community. She's also a supporter of the local fire department! Despite all her wonderful qualities, Halsey is a member of the GIHS 200 Club, having spent more than 200 days in our custody. It's thanks to her fosters that she's been able to experience the comfort and experience of home and family, but she's recently returned to the shelter, and we would love to make her time here short!
