Meet Zuri! Our beautiful 4 year old  girl that is mixed with all sorts of gorgeous dog elements that include Husky mix  (55%) and a touch of Lab and Pit mix.  This crystal blue eyed girl has waited a long time to have her chance to be offered for adoption.  You see she was part of a cruelty case back in the past and was severely malnourished and was pregnant with babies.  All her pretty babies have been adopted but poor Zuri is still looking for the right and confident owner.  She is in foster care and is totally crate trained and housebroken. She is ready now for a wonderful new family to call her own .  This girl is a mature and settled 4years old, 58 pound spayed, UTD on vaccinations, HW- and ready for the good life with a family that will love and cherish her forever. Her beautiful blue eyes and open personality will make you love her instantly.  This girl loves to run and play in the yard and absolutely loves the water! She does good as your passenger in the car for pup cup runs and would do good in a home with older, dog savvy children that are 8 years and above. Story
Kaz is one of those dogs that you could overlook if you just glanced at him.  But if you actually meet him and spend 5 minutes with him, then you see what a remarkable boy he is.   This 40 pounds Lab mix guy is 9-10 months old and he is looking for an exciting family to live with and spread his very special positive vibes and good will.  He is on the smaller side of a Lab and who knows what many other influences there are in his DNA.  What we do know is that he is a sweetheart of a dog who is so very intelligent and a ready student to learn.  He 'gets it' in life and is housebroken, crate trained and very inquisitive.  He manages to hang out with dogs of all sizes and ages with the greatest of ease.  Nothing unnerves this boy.   He is great with young children, adults, other dogs and even a cat.  He still has the puppy tendencies and gets the zoomies when he is excited and feeling his oats for the morning.  He does settle down ever so sweetly and can hang on the sofa or at your feet while you work.  He loves to cuddle and show you just how devoted and happy he is to be with you.  Kaz has a big heart ready for someone that will treasure his love.  If you are looking for a fun and active young teenage dog that will be a medium dog and no more than 50 pounds, yet BIG on personality, then write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Let us know where you live and a little something about yourself.  He is able to be an apartment dog if you are an active family, too.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 15, 2026, 11:53 pm
