Gentle Estella enjoys taking things easy.😌 While she does enjoy a few sniffing laps around the backyard, she’s more excited to hunker down in her bed for a nap. Fun fact about Estella: she speaks Spanish! She understands basic commands and will wag her tail contentedly as you talk to her.💕 Estella is Heartworm positive, which is curable, and has already begun her treatment under our CARE team.

Story
Meet Zuri! Our beautiful 4 year old  girl that is mixed with all sorts of gorgeous dog elements that include Husky mix  (55%) and a touch of Lab and Pit mix.  This crystal blue eyed girl has waited a long time to have her chance to be offered for adoption.  You see she was part of a cruelty case back in the past and was severely malnourished and was pregnant with babies.  All her pretty babies have been adopted but poor Zuri is still looking for the right and confident owner.  She is in foster care and is totally crate trained and housebroken. She is ready now for a wonderful new family to call her own .  This girl is a mature and settled 4years old, 58 pound spayed, UTD on vaccinations, HW- and ready for the good life with a family that will love and cherish her forever. Her beautiful blue eyes and open personality will make you love her instantly.  This girl loves to run and play in the yard and absolutely loves the water! She does good as your passenger in the car for pup cup runs and would do good in a home with older, dog savvy children that are 8 years and above. She has good leash manners and doing well with housebreaking.  Zuri just wants her chance to prove that she’s a great family member and cuddle up with you at night!  If you are interested in this housebroken, crate trained, pretty girl that deserves the best life from her on out…please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 19, 2025, 1:48 pm

Story
SEE VIDEO OF BENNYBenny- 78 lb, 2 year old, black with white paws, lab mix  Handsome Benny may look full grown but he's still just a playful, energetic puppy! Born This boy loves to play and wrestle with other dogs, he requires a fenced in yard where the fence is at least 5 ft high so he can run and explore. He needs a doggie playmate.  He's agile enough to jump a fence should he want to, even though he has not tried at his foster home. He knows commands like come, sit and paw. Benny is a quiet, very friendly pup and great with people. He looks forward to cuddling up on the couch with his family. We think he would do very well in a two dog household as he does get lonely and bored when left alone. Exercise is a must for this boy so an active family would be great for him. He is fully potty trained.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 25, 2025, 8:57 pm

Story
Meet Loving Levi, an affectionate  3-year-old, 55-pound Goldendoodle with a heart as big as his fluffy curls! Levi is searching for a forever home with a fenced yard and a playful dog companion companion or two. Full of life, love, and loyalty—the three “L’s” that inspired his name—this charming boy will be your loyal, fun-loving friend. Levi thrives on companionship and will happily be your “Velcro dog,” always close by. He adores humans and other animals alike, and while he’s not a fan of being left alone for long, he’s calm and content in his foster home, spending time with his furry friends when his foster mom is away. When she’s home, Levi loves curling up by her feet as she works, and he’ll always greet you with enthusiasm and kisses, making you feel truly appreciated! With his soft poodle coat and an adorable white patch on his forehead (perfect for giving kisses!), Levi is as sweet as he is handsome. Although he currently doesn’t live with kids, Levi is always gentle and polite around them, making him a wonderful addition to any family. He’s well-mannered in his foster home, uses the doggie door to go outside. Car rides and walks are some of his favorite activities, and he’s ready to join you on every adventure. Levi is a healthy boy—neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and microchipped. He’s just waiting for a family to share his endless love and loyalty. Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) dedicated to saving high-risk animals like Levi. As part of our mission, we travel to the Northeast weekly, bringing pets like Levi closer to their forever families. For more about our drop-off points and times, visit www.CritterCavalry.com. Story
Imagine being a 50-pound bundle of energy, joy, and potential—with nowhere to go and no idea what it means to just be a dog. That was Roux’s reality for the first years of her life.   Roux is a stunning 2.5-year-old grey Goldendoodle who started life confined to a small apartment. She had little room to play, no yard to explore, and no canine companions to show her the ropes. The lack of exercise and mental stimulation left her with anxiety and uncertainty about the world outside four walls. When Roux was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue, she had never been spayed, had no idea how to enjoy freedom, and needed a new start.   Her second chance came on a farm, where she met wide open spaces, curious animals, and—most importantly—dogs who knew how to run, play, and explore. At first, Roux froze when faced with freedom. She didn't know what to do off-leash. But with time, patience, and the encouragement of her new playmates, something beautiful happened: Roux blossomed. The weight of her early confinement lifted, and a playful, affectionate, and spirited girl emerged.   Roux is now thriving with a body and spirit set free. She races through fields, bounds with joy, and embraces life with a sense of wonder. She’s still a little quirky—a reminder of the tough start she had—but with a kind, confident, and experienced dog-savvy family, Roux will continue to grow into the incredible companion she was always meant to be.   Roux’s Ideal Home:   A confident, playful dog buddy A large fenced yard to chase butterflies (and maybe her own tail)‍‍‍ A family with dog experience and a whole lotta love Okay with cats (she might boop them once or twice) Probably best in homes with kids over 8, just because she’s a bit bouncy   She’s ready for her forever home—somewhere she can finally be her best, happiest self.   Interested in adopting this gorgeous goofball? Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.       Roux is ready for a home that can continue unlocking her potential.  If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet girl, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    Let Roux show you how beautiful a second chance can be.  Trust us, once you meet he,  you won’t stop smiling.       :   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 21, 2025, 9:16 pm
