Hi! My name is Teddy and I am a 2 year old male Lab cross. I came to the shelter by way of Arroyo Grande and my folks did not come here looking for me. I am a big boy, with a big heart. I have a beautiful thick coat - not like a lab - so maybe I have some Great Pyrenees in me OR? A DNA test would be fun. Anyway, I have big energy and some puppy manners. But I really want to do the right thing. Some good exercise and yummy treats would be a great way to help me with my wiggles. A dog savy home would be perfect for me. If labs are your game ( and why wouldn`t we be??), please come down to meet me. I can be found at San Luis Obispo Animal Services. In the summer of 2024 Chester was found abandoned along a highway in SoCal by a family member of ours. After about 2 months with that family member, my wife and I agreed to take him and he has been with us ever since. He is a very sweet, loving dog. He is also very easy going, doesn't bark or demand a lot of attention. I am in my 70's now and we currently live in a home with a large yard. However, we just bought a new home (a condo/townhome) that has no yard and we will be moving there soon. We feel Chester would be happier in a home with a yard and with someone who can take him for regular walks. That is why we are looking to find him a new home.
