Story
Serena came to the shelter as a stray alongside her sister, Venus. She was lucky enough to go into foster quickly, but her journey took a difficult turn when she was later found abandoned in another county. When Serena returned to us, she wasn’t in good shape and needed time, patience, and a whole lot of love to heal. Thanks to the dedication of our staff and volunteers, Serena has blossomed back into her affectionate, gentle self. She forms deep bonds with her people and absolutely loves being part of someone’s day, whether it’s soaking up attention, enjoying yard time, or just hanging out with her favorite humans. She’s super treat-motivated, making training fun and easy, and she keeps her kennel pretty clean. Serena has good leash manners, wonderful mouth manners, and enjoys her daily walks. She also loves her yard time and is always ready for a little play or some one-on-one affection.Serena is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations — now all she needs is a forever family who will never let her down again

Story
Venus came to the shelter as a stray alongside her sister, Serena. Her journey hasn’t been the easiest, but this resilient girl has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate companion who just needs a little patience to show her true personality. She can be shy when meeting new people, yet once she feels safe, her loving nature comes forward in the most heart-melting ways.Venus is becoming more and more excited about making new pup pals. She’s super treat-motivated, which makes training fun and easy, and she’s currently working on her potty-training skills with great progress. Venus keeps her space tidy, has excellent treat manners, and takes snacks with the softest little nibble. This playful girl enjoys her leisurely yard time, loves her toys, and has a silly, sweet personality that shines once she’s comfortable. She’s incredibly affectionate and thrives on gentle companionship, making her a wonderful match for a calm, patient home that lets her open up at her own pace.Venus is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations — now she just needs someone willing to give her the safe, loving home she deserves.

Story
Meet Tarzan!Tarzan was found at a known dumping ground for animals, abandoned with his brother, Terk. Though he was in slightly better condition, Tarzan was still skinny, missing patches of fur, and terrified of human touch. Thanks to top-notch medical care and compassionate staff, this shy pup learned that people could be kind and today, he’s a spunky bundle of energy who loves roughhousing with his brother and collecting treats from his volunteer fan club!Walks are one of Tarzan’s favorite things. He’s working on his leash skills and has started learning “sit.” He’s curious about other dogs, though he prefers a gentle intro rather than fast, bouncy greetings. Meeting new people can be intimidating for him, but with a kind heart and a little patience, he’ll quickly come out of his shell.Food and treat motivated, Tarzan is a great candidate for training and enrichment activities. As a young pup, he thrives on a daily routine filled with playtime, guidance, and love. He’s heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations and ready for a fresh start with someone who sees the hero in this gentle jungle boy.Tarzan’s ready to swing into your life, treats in one paw, toy in the other, and love in his heart.

Story
Meet Terk!Terk was found abandoned with his brother, Tarzan. Scared, injured, and missing patches of fur from puncture wounds on his chest and legs. But with time, care, and plenty of TLC, this brave young pup has made a full recovery and is now ready to find a family to call his own!Terk loves romping in the yard with Tarzan, discovering new toys, and giving the shelter staff his signature “googly eyes” after meals, especially when he’s trying to score more treats (he’s pretty sure they’ve caught onto his trick!). He proudly carries his bowl around like a prize and is working hard to master “sit”, though he admits his treat motivation sometimes gets the best of his focus.Though timid around new faces, Terk warms up quickly and shines with affection. He’s a dream on a leash, showing off excellent manners and a calm demeanor. This food-loving, cuddle-craving pup would thrive in a home with outdoor playtime and a comfy couch to curl up on at the end of the day.Terk is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He’s ready for a fresh start filled with love, treats, and all the belly rubs his heart can hold.Looking for a gentle soul with a goofy streak and a heart that’s healed? Terk is your boy!

Story
Meet Greenley!Greenley is a handsome hound mix with a luxuriously fluffy brindle coat and a heart full of hope. He was found wandering a known dumping area for unwanted animals. But from the moment he arrived, the staff saw something special: a gentle soul just waiting to blossom.Greenley is shy and guarded (especially with men) at first but has made incredible progress with patient love and routine. He takes his time with new people and situations, but each day brings out more of his curious, playful side. He is happy-go-lucky and just wants to be loved. Once he knows you are kind and that he can trust you, he will be your best friend. He`s a dream on the leash, keeps his kennel spotless, and clearly learned some manners in a previous home. He also knows the `sit` command. He gets excited for a walk and will `boop` you if you take too long to put his collar on as if to say, `Hurry up, let`s go!` He rides great in the car, settles in well at night, chewing on his bone and sleeps through the night.Greenley is treat-motivated and knows exactly how to use his big brown eyes to win them—gently, of course. He loves to play and has not met a dog he doesn`t love to play with. He`s proving he’s not just well-mannered… he’s a joyful goof at heart!Greenley has spent time in a foster home regularly. He loves playtime with his 2 foster `brother` friends. He runs out into the yard and does a happy dance in the grass when he is happy. He imagines sunset strolls and shared snacks with someone who sees the magic in quiet moments and daily frolics. He would do best in a home with another playful dog (which builds his confidence), and a big yard to play in. If you’ve got a yard and a kind heart, Greenley just might be your forever friend. He is microchipped, neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations.
