Story
I adopted Strider about four years ago from the Humane Society in Savannah. She has always been a kind and obedient dog, but I’ve become busier with work and I can’t spend as much time with her. She deserves to be in a home, with people who are able to play with her and walk with her daily. She’s good with simple commands like: sit, stay, go to your bed and is leash trained. When it’s time to eat she will sit and wait until she’s told to “eat.” She is good with all types of animals and is very gentle with small dogs and cats. She loves to chase squirrels, play ball and go on walks. Even though she is full of energy she is always very calm inside the house. She does get a rash during the spring/summer (from some type of plant in bloom) a low dose non drowsy allergy medicine helps greatly. This isn’t a decision I’ve come to lightly, so I’ll be very selective when picking a new home for her.

She’s the kind of dog who will quietly choose you as her person and then stick by your side, ready to be your most loyal best friend.Cocoa would do best in a calm, understanding home—ideally with another dog—where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. Story
Meet Bagel — your future snuggle carb! 🐾 This 2½-year-old cutie is housebroken, crate trained, and totally fetch-obsessed. He loves plushies, kids, and snacks (honestly, same). Bagel might not dive into new friendships right away—he’s more of a “let’s take it slow and sniff things out first” kind of guy. But give him a little time (and a few tasty treats 🍖), and you’ll unlock the sweetest, most loyal lovebug who gives endless kisses and demands maximum belly rubs. 💛 He’s treat-motivated, goofy, and currently working on his “no jumping” etiquette (we get it, he’s just that excited to love you). If you’ve got patience, plushies, and a soft spot for shy sweethearts, Bagel’s ready to rise to the occasion and be your forever best friend 🥯 🐶

Meet Totoro 💛 Totoro is a 2-year-old sweetheart with the most charming little smile and the cutest short-stack build you’ve ever seen — and at a petite 40 pounds, she’s the perfect compact companion size. With her stubby legs and bright, happy grin, she turns heads everywhere she goes — and once you meet her, you’ll be completely smitten. Totoro is a goofy, affectionate cuddlebug who wants nothing more than to be by your side (or in your lap!) all day long. She’s the perfect mix of mild-mannered and playful — easy to live with, super dog-friendly, and always ready to flash that big, heart-melting smile. Totoro is: • Spayed • Up to date on vaccinations • Housebroken • Crate trained • 40 lbs of pure love She’s currently receiving heartworm treatment through the rescue, and her care plan will be discussed with approved adopters to ensure she continues to thrive. Whether you’re looking for a loving family companion or a loyal partner-in-crime for your solo adventures, Totoro is ready to fill that role — and your heart — completely. If you’re searching for a gentle, affectionate best friend with a goofy streak and endless cuddle potential, Totoro might just be your perfect match.
