Story
A PERFECT 10!!!! Coupe is a super sweetheart who loves people of all sizes. He is an around 6 year old boxer/lab mix and has a perfect little pout face. Coupe has been returned to our rescue three times, although everyone described him as perfect!!! Coupe has always committed to his people and needs a forever home that will commit to him, regardless of life changes. Coupe is good with other dogs and kids, house and crate trained, calm but active (makes a good running partner) fun, friendly…..the list could go on and on. He loves to play fetch, if that means get the ball and run around with it. He can be a little head strong on a leash and will continue to need guidance with leash manners. He isn’t the best match for cats. Coupe whines with excitement when he gets attention from people. He can be vocal when he plays because he is so excited to be involved with his people and loved. He has some skin allergies that have to be monitored and are managed with baths, food and allergy medication.

Story
Hi there I'm Max. Can I be honest with you? I'm a little sad I've been waiting for a really long time for my forever family to find me and my human friends all say it's not my fault and I'm such a good boy but . . . . what if it is my fault? I know I wasn't always a good puppy when I was younger and I did tear up a lot of things and sometimes I would be stubborn on walks and just sit down. But I promise I don't do those things anymore! I promise I really am a good boy now. I've seen how hard all of my human friends and my foster family have been trying to get me adopted. I don't want them to be sad so I do everything I can every day to make them smile. So they don't think I'm sad, you know? Even though I do feel sad sometimes knowing I don't have someone who loves me like my foster friends are loved. Like how loved my siblings and all my Hamilton Hound friends are. Like Iceman! They said we were going to travel together to Canada but only Iceman had a family waiting for him and so I had to stay down here. It hasn't been so bad though. After graduating from the Hamilton Hounds, since I didn't have a family of my own to go home to, I thought I wasn't good enough for one so I kept working on myself! I've been so good in my foster home they said I was the first one they ever let sleep in their bed the first night I'm still a little shy meeting new people but its just because not everyone has been nice to me. But I know that if you've got a dog already, you must be one of the good humans and I'll love you right away. My favorite things to do is play with my friends, take naps, and cuddle I love cuddling! If you hold me like a baby and rock me, I get a big smile on my face. It makes me safe and loved. I used to think I had to be tough all the time, especially since I'm small. And I don't want to be tough anymore. I just want a human who I can trust and feel safe with, you know? Anyway, I really really hope you'll give me a chance. If you do, I promise I'll be the bestest most perfect dog you've ever had. See you soon, Max
