Story
Meet Birdie!   Adoption fee is sponsored Foster or forever home needed!!! This poor gal’s foster was injured, so that has left her with no place to call home - not in the short or long term! She’s a complete sweetheart and is happiest when she’s right at your side. Men are still a little scary to her, so any men in the home will need to be extra sweet to her to earn her trust. Birdie is leash-trained, crate trained, and fully potty trained! Her prey drive is strong, so a cat-free home is best. She would love to be your hiking/walking buddy so that she can bring her giddy energy to your adventures. This little lady is about 2 yrs old, 53 lbs, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption has been sponsored by her injured foster, to help her find a new home fast. If you’re looking for a loyal, outdoorsy companion who will follow you anywhere and always keep life interesting, Birdie is your girl.   Furry Farm Rescue, established in 2017, is a foster home style rescue group in North Idaho. Our primary focus is on abandoned pets in our local shelter system, be it medical, seniors or puppies and provide them with a safe environment to thrive again. All adoptions start with the application, found at thefurryfarmrescue.org   #northidahorescue #savingshelterdogs #savinlivesin25 ##2496956##

Story
Meet Scooby! 🐾 Scooby is a 1-year-old Lab bursting with energy and personality. This handsome, happy-go-lucky boy is always ready for action! He’s incredibly playful and thrives when he has plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to keep his busy mind engaged. Scooby plays hard and loves enthusiastically, but he can get a little mouthy when he’s excited. He doesn’t mean any harm—he just gets carried away in the fun! Because of this, he would do best in an adult-only home with owners who can continue guiding him with consistent training and positive reinforcement. With structure, patience, and lots of activity, Scooby will make a loyal and entertaining companion. If you’re looking for an energetic best friend who will keep you on your toes and fill your days with laughter, Scooby might just be your perfect match! 🦴💙

Story
❤️ About Parka Parka is a beautiful one-year-old Lab/Rottweiler mix with a big heart to match her big paws. This sweet girl had a rough start and was found as a stray, but despite that, she has a gentle, loving spirit and is ready to find a family she can trust and grow with. Parka is a playful, affectionate “gentle giant.” She loves to move, explore, and spend time with people. She’s also very eager to learn, which makes her a great candidate for continued training and bonding with her new family. Because she spent some time on her own, Parka may take a little time to build trust, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality really shines. Eager to please and learn new things Would benefit from consistent guidance and positive reinforcement Parka would do best with a patient adopter who can give her love, structure, and time to settle in. An active home that enjoys walks, playtime, and continuing her training would be perfect for this bright young pup.

Story
Your Big, Loyal Lab Mix Buddy! Breed: Labrador Retriever/Great Dane MixAge: 2 years (approximate)Gender: FemaleSize: Large Susie Q is a gorgeous 2-year-old Black Lab Mix (possibly Great Dane) with a heart as big as her size. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she decides you’re her person, she’s loyal through and through. Her foster calls her a “gentle giant with a goofy streak,” and it fits her perfectly. Susie Q's rescue story: Susie was found living on Downriver Golf Course on August 30th along with another doggy friend. Some workers at the golf course had been watching after the two dogs. After a week, they called in Freddie B and the rescue mission began. Susie and her friend were secured and entered a foster home. Now that her 30-day stray hold is up, Susie is ready for a furever home! See rescue videos on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1GiXhffkqS/ Personality & Home Life: - Loves snuggles and will happily rest her big head in your lap for pets - Thinks she’s too big for the couch, but secretly wants to be a lap dog - Happy to nap on her dog bed and is fully potty trained - Not a chewer! Your shoes and furniture are safe! Play & Training: - Loves to run, play with toys, and would thrive with training or agility activities - Knows how to sit and is a quick learner with the right guidance - Needs work on leash manners (squirrels are her kryptonite ) - Would love a big-dog playmate, but still learning to share toys What Susie Needs: - A cat-free home (she has a strong prey drive) - Not suited for farm animals - Best with bigger dogs, dog-savvy older kids, and an experienced owner who can give her consistent training and structure The Ideal Home for Susie Q: - Susie Q is looking for someone who understands big dogs and can give her the guidance she craves. With structure, love, and plenty of playtime, she’ll be the most loyal companion you could ask for. If you’re ready for a goofy, snuggly Lab who will keep life fun and full of love, Susie Q is waiting to meet you! Boomer is a very friendly and highly food motivated boy (but what Lab isn’t?). We bought him at a local farmers market and he’s been such a good puppy but unfortunately, he is in need of a new home. He will be 4 on April 23rd. He’s goofy and lovable and always down for a good head scratch.
