*Dax cannot go home until he has been neutered. He's not on the schedule to be neutered yet, but is still making friends and accepting applications in the meantime* Meet Dax! This handsome pup is about 2 years old and ready to find the forever home of his dreams. Dax arrived at HSoP as as stray, so we unfortunately don't know much about his history. We can tell you that he's a huge guy with lots of energy and excitement, and would love an owner who keeps him busy. Dax is a big boy and doesn't entirely realize just how much force he carries. He knows how to sit on command, and despite his size, will even take treats extra gently when asked! He seems to love making his people happy and has proven to make new human friends with ease. Dax has a big happy smile and wants nothing more than a loving owner (or family) to spend his days with. We don't know how he behaves around cats or other dogs, but we do offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption to ensure a good fit for the whole family. As with all canine adoptions, Dax will be required to meet any dogs in the home prior to leaving HSoP. If you're interested in getting to know Dax, don't wait! Rachel is a shy girl who warms up for belly rubs! She is very sweet and has a beautiful face. She Is in a large pack of dogs and needs her own family to love her and give her attention! She gets along well with her brothers and sisters but likes to lay on top of her food bowl and toys so she doesn’t have to share. She will do best as an only dog or with a new sibling about her size. She has no problem with cats but if they run she likes to chase them for fun. Rachel loves being outside! She loves water! She enjoys the hose, kiddie pool and sprinkler! She would make a great porch dog! Play hard and crash! Her favorite sleeping position is on her back feet up! She doesn’t love car rides but is getting better. Rachel will walk on a leash, is potty trained and uses a dog door. She likes her own place to sleep usually in her dog bed or under tables, chairs or the porch. She hasn’t been crate trained but considering where she likes to sleep, I feel she would do well in an open door crate. Once she is comfortable she is all yours! She will make a great family dog!
