Story
Meet Buddy! 🐾 Are you looking for a stunning, affectionate, and fun companion with unforgettable golden ember eyes? Buddy might just be your perfect match. Buddy is a one-year-old black Lab mix who combines good looks with great manners. He has completed obedience training, is leash trained, and truly enjoys engaging with his people. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of your day — whether that’s a walk, a training session, or relaxing together at home. We think that Buddy could live happily with teens 16 and up. He thrives with clear expectations and positive guidance. While he hasn’t lived with another dog since he was a puppy, he has successfully participated in community playgroups with other large dogs and can do well with canine companions given proper introductions. This sweet boy is affectionate, eager to please, and ready to show off everything he’s learned. Buddy would do best in a home that appreciates a smart, trained dog and is excited to continue building on the strong foundation he already has. If you’re searching for a loyal sidekick with brains, beauty, and a big heart, Buddy is your man. 🖤🐕

Story
Meet this big, clumsy goofball with paws that don’t always know where they’re going. He’s still mastering his manners, so he’ll need an experienced dog person who’s comfortable with training and confident leash handling (first-timers, this big guy might knock you over—purely by accident). He can seem a little aloof at first, but add toys and treats and suddenly he’s a giant baby who lives for affection and has zero concept of personal space. He does have a big, booming bark that can be intimidating and he can be reactive through a fence, but it’s not aggression—just overexcitement and big feelings in a big body. He means no harm and settles with proper handling. He hasn’t been fully tested with cats or other dogs yet, but he’s willing to try with slow, thoughtful introductions. Because of his size, enthusiasm, and lack of personal boundaries, he’s not a great fit for homes with small kids—he loves too hard and knocks things over without realizing it. Fun fact: when chasing a ball, he trips and falls about every ten minutes, then pops back up like nothing happened. With the right experienced owner, patience, and continued training, this lovable oaf has the potential to be an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion. Before considering adopting please make sure to have the proper time, resources and LOTS of space to care for me for the rest of my life.

Story
Franco is a black lab mix that was rescued around 1 years old. He has been in the same home for the past 10 years. He enjoys dog parks, walks, hikes, being outside, but also can be lazy and snuggle all day long. Toys are his favorite. He loves to fetch balls, Play tug of war, and chew on his stuffies. Franco is loving, and cuddly, He rarely barks usually only when he sees squirrels. His ideal home is a childless one, where he would get lots of attention and snuggles. Franco is house trained, he does not have accidents in the home. He will also follow simple commands like sit, stay, paws up, lay, spin, etc... We had a baby 2 years ago and have realized that Franco is not comfortable around small children, He has snipped at 3 kids, and recently made contact with our daughter leaving a scratch on her. He has never shown signs of aggression to adults or other animals. We believe he is feeling anxious, and don’t trust him around our 19 month old anymore and need to rehome him ASAP.
