Story
Creed was born April 10th, 2025. He is a happy go lucky kinda fella. Loves to play with other dogs, does well around cats (but my cats do not like dogs), and loves all people (but not UPS trucks). He spent his first year inside, but has recently moved to an outdoor kennel run with an attached shed. He is looking for a home with someone or a family that is able to give him more free range time and lots of energy to play.

Story
Hi! My name is Badge I am a 1.5 year old, (soon to be) neutered Labrador x Pitt bull mix. I will soon be microchipped, heartworm tested and current on my vaccines. 3 words that describe me: Friendly, curious, shy Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: “He took some time to warm up but is clearly a sweet boy once he gets used to you”, “As soon as he is comfortable he turns into a lover boy” Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10) 5/10 Housetraining Status: Working on it. I should do well in a home: I should do well in a home with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. My humans haven’t seen me around cats so they don’t know what I’d be like around them. I would do great in homes with children ages 8+ given my shyness. My favorite activities are: I like sniffing around outside and getting treats from my favorite humans. Things I need work on are: Confidence building, basic commands and leash walking (pulls some) Any special needs: None Doggy day out notes: None yet Daycare Status: I haven’t attended daycare yet, maybe some day. My adoption fee is: $300 Training Requirement if applicable: None *If you are interested in adopting, please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal

Story
Hi I’m Dorothy, I’m an 8 year old lab/shepherd mix. I am current on my vaccines, (soon to be) heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped.3 words that describe me: Calm, friendly, affectionate.Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: “Such a lovely old lady!” “She’s a happy-sweet tail-waggin girl“Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 3/10 I’m an old lady but still have some pep in my step!Housetraining Status: With a consistent routine, her foster says Dorothy is fully potty trained. (She’s old girl!)I should do well in a home: I’m looking for a calm, adults-only home where I can feel comfortable and secure. While young children can be a bit overwhelming for me, I may do well with other dogs if introductions are done slowly and I’m given time to settle in. I haven’t had the opportunity to meet any cats yet, so it’s unknown how I would do with feline friendsMy favorite activities are: I love to play outside! I like to explore and follow my nose!Things I need work on are: I need to lose some weight, and I do pull some on leashAny special needs: N/ADoggy day out notes: "Dorothy was a very good girl. She was chill and laid back. She does some tugging on the leash, but not too hard. She was very adventurous and used her nose to guide our walks. It was very hot so we had to stay inside a lot, but overall she was very behaved.""She did very well. Great with us. Calm in the car and at the house""Dorothy was amazing on her doggy day out! She liked to go walks but not too too far. She is a very calm and relaxed dog while also being so friendly. She loves belly rubs and her butt scratches. She also does very well in the car and liked when I put the window down a little to let her head peak out. Overall, Dorothy is the cutest and did great on her day out!!""Dorothy was an absolute sweetheart. She loved riding in the car & was great on our walk & she made herself right at home in my apartment. We had a great Doggy Day Out!"Daycare Status: N/AMy adoption fee is: $125Training Requirement if applicable: N/A*If you are interested in adopting, please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal
