Wow! Who knew you could get such a good dog at Walmart?? that's where Hank was first found almost 3 years ago. At that time he was just a little guy and now Hank The Tank weighs over 100 Lbs!! If you like Big Dogs and have the space, Hank is looking for you. He's a beautiful black lab mix and seems to be very smart too. Already knows several commands Sit, Stay, Load Up, Kennel, Here and Shake. Goodness....I don't think I can remember all those. He's housetrained and crate trained and loves to play softball. He's not fond of loud noises like thunder, fireworks or gunshots so we recommend you shop at the Big Beautiful Dog Store for a Thunder Shirt. He said to get XL.

Goldie is currently enrolled in the Best Chance Adoption Program at LCMHF. She knows how to sit, stay, walk on a leash well, and she can shake and give hugs! She`s an amazing gal! This is what Goldie`s handler has to say about her: `Goldie loves water, food, and people of all ages and sizes. She plays well with people and other dogs. She is the same dog everyday. She is fun and energetic and always happy and hasn`t been aggressive to anyone. She loves to run and chases butterflies, birds, and anything that moves in the grass. She loves to play with other dogs and is great with all other dogs she meets. She is a very smart dog. She sits well and heels well while walking. IF YOU WANT A GOOD DOG, GOLDIE IS IT!!!!!`Goldie does have a minor heartworm infection and will need to be on Heartgard (or similar product), a relatively inexpensive monthly heartworm preventative, for the rest of her life.

Cheyenne is an absolute sweetheart. She arrived at the shelter last year when her owner moved and left her behind to fend for herself. She is currently enrolled in the Best Chance Adoption Program at LCMHF. This is what her handler had to say about Cheyenne: `My name is Cheyenne and I love, love, love to go on walks. When I am done with walking, I love to jump in a nice cool pool of water and frolic about. I have learned to do tricks for treats, like sit, stay, come, shake, lay down, and more! I am more partial to male dogs than female dogs but as long as they accept I`m in charge, it`s not a problem. I love human females and most human men too. I am not a fan of cats but that`s OK, not everyone needs a cat anyway! I also like to chase rabbits but who doesn`t? If you approach me with a good dose of loving, I`ll give you all day to stop. My favorite past-time is cuddling up with my favorite human(s) and watching a good movie. If treats are involved, even better!`Cheyenne is a cool gal with a lot of love to give and life to live!
