Story
This is Boomerang (also called Boomer or Boom-Boom). I got him from the Kansas Humane Society in Dec 2025. He is a very active and energetic 2yr old lab/greyhound mix. He is seriously the best dog. He is great with other dogs, cats, and kids and loves attention. He is very loyal and follows me around the house and wants to be where I'm at at all times. He does have fairly bad separation anxiety and anxiety meds do help, but he still hates being in his crate. He needs help with potty training as he frequently goes in the house, even if he is being crated. I work during the day and take him out when I get home, but he goes during the night on the floor. He will bark if I'm home and he's in a crate, which is not accepted in an apartment building. He's a cuddler and a great guard dog as well. I hate that I have to give this sweet boy up, but it's my only option at this time. He deserves to have a loving home with attentive owners who can give him what he needs to succeed in a home.

Story
We got Lily, who is a 2 year old Lab Mix, from our local animal shelter, where they told us she didn't get along with other dogs or cats at all. We didn't have other dogs but our neighborhood is full of dogs and some cats. Lily has unfortunately run after our neighborhood dogs by managing to pull her harness and collar off and running to them. She unfortunately has also knocked one of our elderly neighbors down trying to get to their small dog. We have tried everything we can to help her out but our neighbors have expressed concern for their dogs because of Lily, which is why we are needing to rehome her as soon as possible. Lily does VERY well with kids. Our kids are 2,6,7,8. Our 2 year old loves Lily and honestly smothers her with a lot of love, yet Lily has never once barked, snipped or even snapped at our toddler or older kids.

I acquired Abbie two years ago, from our local humane society. They had picked her up along the side of the road, and she was emaciated. They had her in their possession for ninety days before I adopted her. I'm unsure of her age, but she's probably around five or so. She's starting to gray a little bit on her muzzle. Originally, we lived in the country, and she was able to run and run. She still stayed close to home and always came into the house when I called her. We now live in a housing development where she can't run as much as she wants to. But she still comes in the house when I call her. I am looking for a home where she gets lots and lots of love and attention. She is a really, really good girl and very loyal. There is a sound I make, that gets her all excited. And she will run from the living room into the kitchen and back again.Until I make the noise again and she'll do it all over! (She will do it outside too) lol! She's pretty laid back and causes no trouble.

Gracie is the sweetest dog you could ask for. She is 7 years old. She likes to play with toys and chew on hard bones. She loves to be loved on! The funny thing about her is that she sleeps backwards in her bed. Her only vice is that I have to take her to get her nails trimmed. She's in excellent health. The only reason I'm needing to find her a new home is because my husband passed away last October and I'm moving to Florida and can't take her. Please take a xxxx@xxxx.x won't be sorry! She had never bitten anyone or any other dog.
